Personally I come into this thread to look at offers rather than your thoughts on their pricing structure.

Their future is very important to people who buy their discs in the high street yet your post offered no information on their future nor information on an offer they might currently have on in one of their outlets.

 Amazon have got a pretty nifty 3 for £17 offer going on at the moment. There's a decent selection as well. I ordered Fargo, Jackie Brown and Fight Club yesterday. Can't grumble at £5.66 each (rrp on Fargo was £899 )

 Picked up 24 final season for £15 on B.Ray in HMV would've got season 7 of Curb for £7.50 too if some git hadn't taken the last 2 while I went to get some more cash!!!
Also picked up Kings Of Leon's Doc/Film Talihina Sky for £3 on B.Ray in FOPP not seen it before BUT! hey £3 with decent looking extras I'd say it's worth a punt?

 Picked up Hellboy on blu-ray for £6 at blockbuster. Not seen it yet. Also got Smallville season 6 for £10, but the bargain was they knocked off £4 at the till for no apparent reason.

 The HMV i went in to today had A Team Triple Play £4.99, The Fantastic Mr Fox Blu Ray and Digital Copy £4.99 and Predators Triple Play £4.99. I also picked up Marmaduke for £4.99 but i guess that's not too much to shout about. Good prices for some quality blus and all had nice slipcases. I already own the A Team Steelbook and the A Team Window Slipcase Artcards release so i didn't pick it up a third time, but i bought Mr Fox and Predators.

I had The A-Team Triple Play for Christmas back in 2011 and found the digital copy had expired so I'd say that's actually a Double Play now. I'd also wager that the Predator digital copy has long expired.

Good point, i never usually use them myself, although like you say, i'm sure it's probably too late for these. I saw Predators once when it came it out and didn't think much of it but i thought i'd feel differently this time around, but no. I still didn't like it.

Yeah, Play.com actually impressed me for once recently when they did an offer on Captain America and made clear it was only Double Play since the digital copy had expired. Speaking of which, they have The Dictator Triple Play for £4.99.

 Started today, but HMV are running the Blue Cross event again, for I think a week, maybe two, except this time it will be a BOGOF offer rather than a money off offer. It's pretty much all back catalogue stuff, some decent stuff, some awful stuff. One last push to get rid of some stock before a sale finally goes through and it becomes the responsibility of whoever buys us.

Are Zavvi bad then? I got things from them in the past which has been fine. Just the other week I got Back to the Future Trilogy on blu-ray for around £9 from them.

 They're a mixed bag to be honest, although this is fairly well documented. Sounds like you've had a couple of lucky experiences with them. I had an excellent experience with them recently, so cannot claim that they are all bad, and in the wake of other retail giants going down the pan, they may be 'bucking their ideas up'.

However it must be said that they do have a reputation for not sending items out for aaaaaages after you order, sending out used stock, charging you twice for one item, and also for having the worst customer service ever (particularly if you need to return something)
