If your mobile contract is due expire you could do what I did and get a free PS3. Just means you end up with a shitty mobile phone!

 Well, it looks like I might be picking up a new sealed 80GB PS3 for £200.

One question though, does it come with an HDMI cable or shall I order one now?

 No, PS3s definitely don't come with a HDMI cable, unless you get one of those bundles that includes the "accessory kit".

You might also want to get yourself a PS3 BD remote.

By all accounts HDMI cables are all the same and do the same job so it doesnt really matter how much you spend on one.  Asda are doing Philips ones for £3, Tesco for around £2.

That BOGOF from Tesco was even better just a few days ago, there were some of the titles priced at £12. They changed the price pretty sharpish though. Not sure if it has been posted but the below site is pretty good for deals.

Apparently the transfer is a little pants and not much better than the DVD so I'm unsure about getting this, plus the fact Godfather 3 is, well, crap.

I've now had this twice off Play and on both copies of Godfather part 2 there's a 10 minute jump 1 hour 40 minutes in. If I didn't know better I'd think they just shrink wrapped the first one I sent back..... So yeah, I'm sending it back and asking for a refund this time.

God almighty, I shall be bankrupted at this rate.  I was resisting replacing my dvd Band of Brothers with the blu ray, but I'm not sure I can hold out now....

No denying the quality of the show but is it worth the upgrade.  Still, once I've sold/traded in my old dvd copy, the upgrade will have only cost me £6.  Not bad for a whole tv series, considering how much it would cost you to do the same for Battlestar, Heroes, Lost etc.

I notice a few posts ago somebody mentioned a site called shopto.net .Have any of you guys used it? If so, were the dics the real deal and not some wierd import. I've checked out the site myself, and some of the blu ray prices seem a bit to good to be true. Help!

Its only been a year since blu ray won the format war and they are selling them so cheap . Next year they will cost £4 for a blu ray disk.

 Shop to disks are fine, they're a reputable company. Nothing dodgy there, I've used them for Blu Rays and Games and always received nothing but a first class service.

 The Hut have got some decent prices on Blu-ray at the minute. It's probably shit but they have the Day Of The Dead remake for less than a fiver. Some other titles between 5-10 quid too. Tried to post the link but it didn't work.

 Finally recieved my copy of Band of Brothers on blu ray, after the first one got dented in the post and I had to return it.  For £15.97, it was a bloody bargain!  Brilliant picture quality.
