I think perhaps a computer game franchise that no one cares about too much these days might be a good idea for a film as there's less expectations. I just hope it doesn't get all Paul W.S. Anderson'd up

 We wouldn't want the Intergalactic Association for Extraterrestrial Rights complaining about brutality on alien filmstars, would we? They get all their picket-holding tentacles in the air, when they get really upset. You wouldn't want to cross their picket line.

 Don't even joke about Paul WS Anderson, you know he's itching to get his hands on another game franchise (aside from Castlevania which now seems to have been wrestled off him).

Sod the Duke movie, I'd rather see someone finally release Duke Nukem Forever (12 years and counting).

Unless Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would be playing him. That would be hilarious.

 Hardly cinema material is it? Much like all the other failed attempts to bring a game where theres a single character and little dialogue/plot to a feature film.
