Absolutely love this trailer. I am so excited for next Christmas!!! The only gripe I have with the film so far is with the make-up on the dwarves, as they look abit too cartoony in some of the images I've seen but then again that's not really enough to go on. Hopefully seeing them in the context of the film will solve this.

It's just like the scene from Clerks 2.
It amazes me with the bashing there's still a FUCKING YEAR TO GO PEOPLE! plenty of time for new stuff to hit the screen it's not like he's gonna put the best bits out there now is it hence why they're called TEASERS!

I love the trailer, the singing alone sends tingles down my spine. This film simply cannot come fast enough, I think I will be almost as excited as I was about Return Of The King being released. I love the brown and green hues that are so reminscent of the first trilogy.

This is going to be Phenominal.
The trailer nails the world and tone perfectly from the LOTR films. I'm so glad Jackson is on this and not another director.

Cant wait for this, even more than Prometheus and Dark Knight Rises for me.

It's been said over at TORn that The Hobbit trailer got 6 million hits, whereas TDKR got 'only' 5 million. What a week to be a film fan eh

Saw the trailer. Looks a bit plastic to me but it is early days. I still don't see why they can't use 'real' dwarves as actors, just like they did in AGOT.

People would say I'm nitpicking but it's not. To have people who are 6 feet tall + playing characters who are verticlay challenged is ridiculous.

Should be good. Really hope Freeman doesn't just do his schtick for the entire film (funny eye movements and sighing). Also the fact that they chose McKellan again (Who I loved as Gandalf) who appears to have aged a bit, when the film is set before LotR, is a bit distracting. Though replacing him would have been nigh-on impossible.

Another slight issue is that dwarves are just so much more limited: far too much comic reliance.

Still cannot wait!

I realise that it's a year till release, but who do you guys reckon should sing the original songs for the films? In regards to the previous three, I much preferred the more Celtic sounds of Enya's: May it Be. However, Annie Lennox Into The West just seemed to fit perfectly with RotK.

I'd say that Haley Westenra would be quite good:~

Haley singing World in Union.

Just finished watching ROTK. Is the song Aragorn sings at the end the same as the one Thorin Oakenshield sings in the trailer?

No.
