supernatural has suffered a bad reputation in its first season, and was compared to far more successful shows like Buffy,The X-Files,Angel,and The Twilight Zone...a nice surprise was in that seasons concluding episodes it would twist everything around for its own entertainment values.
season 2 upped the ante but still didnt gather any pace or momentum until the seasons final batch of episodes...still good entertainment.
Finally fans are treated with the third season of the show that is now of a cult status, here it is up in the ranks with Buffy,Angel etc.and thanks to the writers strike it made all the episodes powerful and unique in many ways than just one.
the monster of the week episodes are now all perfect rather than a verying quality like its previous seasons.
season three has a different dynamic and gathers more momentum this time round to make season three a must watch for all genre fans.
yes Buffy is a far greater show than this, but this season of the show has upped its ranks to tht level of entertainment factors that has been lacking from many US shows.
season 3 is a must watch for every fan,and with 16 excellent episodes...it cant go wrong at all.

Now well developed comic touch? Obviously the reviewer was skimming through her season one dvds because there has been much humour to Supernatural throughout the three seasons. The family bantering between the two Winchester brothers has been a main feature throughout the show.
Season two ended with Dean giving up his soul to a demon in order to bring his brother back from the so called supernatural death. So naturally this season focuses on Sam trying to save his brother from a fate entertwined with hell. The writing and the storylines were a little tighter this year and the addition of Ruby was a suprisingly enjoyabe treat.
Waiting to see how in the hell (pun intended) they bring Dean back.

Just fell in love with supernatural and i have to say these are one of the coolest tv shows i have seen in ages - as i watch a lot of tv. Jared and Jensen are perfect as Dean and Sam. I canīt wait to see what happens in end of season four.

So, the end of season 2 saw many changes. The demon that the boys hunted for so long is dead, yet at a terrible price. Sam died, and Dean sold his soul to bring him back. Now, with only a year to do it, the boys must race against time to save Dean from his deal, before he is sent to hell by new baddie Lillith.
They also have to deal with all the demons who escaped from hell in the season 2 final, as well as contend with two new arrivals on the show, hot girls theif Bella and seeminlgy good demon Ruby.
Whats good about this season is even though its always on a countdown, with Dean's death overhanging and referenced in every episode, its still the most enjoyable season to date. There is more light humour as well as dark drama, with even bigger mysteries being laid down about both of the boys. The two new girls are fun, especially Ruby, And the season goes at a good pace despite the fact it was cut short by 6 episodes due to the damn writer's strike. Overall a hugley enjoyable season with an ending that I don't think many fans will see coming.

Season 3 brings some of the funnest episode of the show so far. It is a mixture of horror, comady and drama all rolled into one. The actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padlecki do a great job potraying Dean with Sam with emotion and humor. New cast members Katie Cassidy and Lauran Cohan are also welcome additions as demon Ruby and Bella. It's a shame to hear these girls were not carried on aboard for season 4. The finale is brillerent, with a twist at the end no fan saw coming.

Jensen is my favorite actor! He is just amazing and soooo cute, his "Eye of the tiger" performance proved one more tome that he is cool and funny and one of the best actors ever!
