I would have liked to see Jim Cornette with the booking responsibilities. I'm not one of those people who jumps on bandwagons but Russo has had enough chances over the years. Talent wise i think TNA have depth, as for RAW i can't comment as i havn't watched since September when i officially gave up.

Russo's ok as long as he's not given free reign, like in wwe when vince had final say on what will work or not. in wcw he had no-one to water him down hence why the story's were all over the place. He was the same in tna until recently now hogan and bishoff see's everything. its gonna take time, i certainly have seen alot of improvements in the shows production etc but they have bishoff so i would expect that.

jeff vs aj should be good 2night anyway aj should be able to carry him to a decent match

That should be a good match if they're actually allowed to have a match without interference ect... WWE is far superior in production values, storylines ect... TNA used to have better womens wrestling but now that's gone too.  If Hogan and Bish are checking Russo's work, then they're just as bad.

Credit where it's due.  It was great to watch Hogan, Abyss, Jeff and RVD walk in together.  The Flair / Stlyes / Hardy interview was excellent stuff.  Shame the matches are still too short and is Bischoff a face or a heel? I'm not sure.

What channel is the ppv on? Does anyone know?

By the sounds of it, (and I won't post spoilers) Destination X sounds really good bar one match. Quite looking forward to watching it :)

They're still pushing far too many over the hill wrestlers.

This thread had slipped down to page three.

The popes finisher looked devistating on Wolfe this week but he shouldn't be losing so easily.  Chelsea is hot.  What was the point in the womens comp? Daphane didn't even strip and they gave the title away in a box? Way to make it look worthless.  Bubba love has to go, why are they paying him? NWA is so over the hill - fastforward.  But the rest of the show was decent.  Some ok matches and nice promos.  TNA is slowly improving... mainly due to Jeff and RVD.

TNA was brilliant this week, start watching it again! Actual wrestling matches... amazing red is amazing.  Shannon match was superb.  Jeff vs Storm was good too.  The only let down was the women's match.  Velvet cannot punch but she is gorgeous.  Actually looking forward to lockdown on extreme channel nxt friday.

Have you noticed that the nasty boys shirts have disappeared from the crowd? lol obvious plants.

I used to watch TNA weekly back when it used to come for free on the wrestling channel, but when it moved to Bravo I was a bit disappointed and then lost interest, recently installed Sky+ and I now have Bravo/Bravo 2 but have no interest in watching.

TNA has almost turned itself around in a few weeks.  Lockdown was a great ppv, Angle vs Anderson and AJ vs Pope were excellent.  The brawl at the end was ok too with the insane Hardy ladder dive on top of the cage.  It's much better then it was...Hogan seems to be taking a backseat and the Nastys have fingers crossed gone.  Still not keen on the band (too old) but the rest is getting there.  At the moment I would choose TNA over WWE.

Why? RVD vs AJ vs Hardy (it's coming) or any combination of that.  RVD has a voice in TNA and he's actually over again, makes me remember why I used to like wrestling instead of just tolerate it week after week.

Impact was amazing! If you're a wrestling fan or a casual fan make sure you check it out.  RVD vs Jeff Hardy and RVD vs AJ - two dream matches, one night.  The return of actual wrestling and it reminded me of why I actually like this sport.

I can't believe ive just read those last 2 posts??? Come on where's the real cynic!!

The nastys were released a month ago, they were only ever really on a 3 month contract which was terminated short hence why it was the band and not nastys against the dudleys at lockdown. The angle moonsault was sick, i guess hardy was supposed to do a swanton but lost his nerve......i dont blame him lol a splash was fine. Im still not a fan of his but if he stays out of jail tna have a goldmine in him and can see them building the company around jeff.

The thing with that splash is the ladder was wobbling and it seemed like it was gonna fall back.  Still impressive...

Fair play they turned it around...hope it continues...

Tna going back to thursday nights! apparently the fans have spoken lol The real reason being they have to go live every week to have any chance and they can't afford to. They should go live on a thurs and see what the ratings do then??

Awesome post! TNA is the worse right now, IMO it is the worse wrestling product on a major level since the dying days of WCW, See the connection?

Did anyone see Genesis yet? What a big let down this event was. It had three good matches at the start, and then it totally went down hill after that. The booking even by TNA's standed was dumb.

Like when Eric Bishoff gave away than Matt Hardy was going to be RVD's mystery oppernrt (In so many words), right before the match. Fact is the fans up until that point could only guess at weather Hardy would be on the PPV. Talk about killing the superse

And then you had the MMA mess which was more of a comedy match, and a insult to wrestling fans to boot, and of couse it had another lame finish.

SPOILER ALLERT!!!
I guess Anderson winning the TNA title was a nice suprise, but then again the victory was over shadowed by Eric Bishoff, Mick Foley and Ric Flair. And I have no faith left in TNA than they will do much with him as champion anyway.

I see that Desmond Wolfe has been released due to having Hepatitus.

Shame as he was one of my faves.

Out of interest Sledgy, where are you getting that information from? He's still on the Roster page on their site, and theres no mention of it on any gossip site I use or Wikipedia. If he is it makes sense, he was meant to return last week but that got editted out, plus theres the fact he was signing for WWE until he failed a medical as well.

Reading the post, he got it from wrestleheat.com, until it appears on pwtorch, pwinsider, Dixie's twitter or TNA's own site, I'm calling BS.
