Rage is seven squid down at Morrisons. Cheaper if you befriend a staff member a decade ago and use his discount card.

Not THAT cheap but it will be in time: Legend of Grimrock. Brilliant retro grid based movement game. Highly recommended as a 11/13E game on Steam.

Bought Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Deus Ex Human Revolution preowned at Blockbuster. They were initially £12.99 each or 2 for £20. Deus Ex was on a managers special offer at £7.99 so I was strangely only charged £15 for the two.

Think I might have to purchase Bolt, Meet the Robinsons and Meatballs.....you know. For the little 'un.

Do you pay for these with msp or is it a case of £3.99 from your card?

Just bought LA Noire, Heavy Rain, Battlefield 3, Rage, Mafia 2, Flashpoint Red River, Call of Juarez Bound in Blood and Homefront (all second hand) all for £40 off Facebook. Someone selling for her brother while he's on holiday. I suspect he's going to be pissed.

Late notice but did anyone else pick up the AVP game for 4Euro on Steam yesterday? I've heard exquisitely 'meh' things about i...but for 4 Euro you surely can' go too wrong!

Even a morsel of a shade of the original game and I will be a happy camper.

I've just finished my first run through. If you enjoyed it first time around I'd say go for it.

It feels weird and floaty at first but you get used to it and some of the later levels are damn tricky. Legendary run though will be tough but satisfying.

I paid £16.85 from Shopto last week.

Edit: There's pretty decent multiplayer too.

I think she just didn't have a clue what she was selling. Originally wanted £25 for LA Noire and Battlefield. She then offered all 8 for £50 but knocked her down to £40, And she dropped them round.

In Steam sales, I've bought Payday: The Heist for £3.74. The cheapest I've ever seen. Might buy L4D2 if I see it cheap again as I missed it the other night. Want to get Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Call of Cthulhu, Oddworld: Strangers Wrath and Sid Meiers Pirates!

Civ IV is amazing, not as newbie-friendly as Civ V from what I hear but still aces.

I've picked up Alan Wake, The Binding of Isaac (+ DLC), Portal 2, Trine, Trine 2 and Tropico 3 (+ DLC). Also gifted a friend Bad Rats, because I'm such a cool dude.

Also also for anyone not in the know, WAIT FOR THE DAILY DEALS/FLASH SALES/COMMUNITY CHOICE SALES. If the game you want hasn't come up by the final day, buy it then but not before because otherwise you'll end up kicking yourself. Nearly did that with Binding of Isaac, glad I didn't.

I'm so proud of myself so far in the Steam Sale. More money than last year and I have only spent a tenner on the 3rd Indie pack. If there is nothing interesting by the last day I will probably by the 2k pack.

Everthing is to tempting....even stuff I already have.

I heard Civ5 is more friendly for new players but I liked the idea of being able to force religions onto other cultures in Civ4.

Picked up Bastion yesterday as well when it was in the flash sale.
