I need a game to rekindle my gaming love.

ATM, I have no games I can be arsed starting to play, but I want to start gaming. I'm bored of everything I own and I have no incentives to play :(

I got it today. £4.99 is not too bad especially considering I've not had a Basketball game since the Megadrive. Wow, I just felt old suddenly!

The Orange Box is on Play for only £12.  (360 and PS3).

Also

Sainsburys will  be cutting the price of the 360 until the 12th.

£100 for 360 Arcade and £140 for the 60GB model

£40 - Wii
£50 - 360/PS3
£30 - PS2

I know World Tour and Rock Band 2 are coming soon but this is cheap isn't it?

You may be able to dig up the thread on here if you want everyones opinons. Now that the hype of the game is gone and as it is only £12.99 I am sure you would go into the game with a different mindset. Compared to those who pre-ordered it as they could not wait to play it and spent £54.99 on the limited edition version of the game with the Altir statue.

What is in the game is pretty good. Graphics are nice. Musics ok. Exploring the towns is cool. Free running etc is good. The problem is you end up doing the exact same thing over and over again. The game never introduces enough new features to keep you truly excited. I repeat you really do end up doing the same thing again and again. Once you have completed the first Kingdom and all it's side missions you have pretty much seen all the game has to offer. Around half way through you will just wish it will end. To be fair if you do not bother with the side missions you will fly through a lot quicker.

I rented it so I was lucky. I got it a few weeks after release too. As I never spent £40 on it I could enjoy it a lot more. Over all I did like it for all it's flaws I still enjoyed the game. Just be prepared to repeat everything that you do. Did I say that already? That you pretty much just repeat the same thing over and over. That each kingdom is pretty much the same. That all the side missions are pretty much the same. Voice work is exactually the same lines but in different accents for the side missions. Everywhere starts to look the same. <ahem>

It is only £12.99 so give it go. Over all I was entertained.

i really enjoyed assassins creed so I'd certainly recommend at that price. DMC4  is a good deal at that price. Is Kane and Lynch worth getting?
