Could this game be any more average?

I finished this game the same day I got it, probably the most disappointing game I've ever owned.

I really wanted to play this eventually, but then I heard that they'd changed the game design from the previous game incarnations. I really love Philosopher's Stone and PoA on the Cube, as they're really good fun. Yeah, the lesson challenges are a bastard sometimes, but it's still great.
