Last nights was my favourite since the first episode. Laughed out loud at the last line.

The vending machine bit was a bit naff though.

Disappointing ending. With a title like The Beginning I expected it to reference The End (1st ever episode.) No Kochanski either

It was just OK with a few good bits, much like this series. A successful return? Hmm... I'd still like to see Red Dwarf 11 so it can't have been that bad. But then I just love these characters.

There was.

Last line in the End, after telling Holly to plot a course for Fiji, was Lister saying "the slime's coming home"

Last line of the Beginning, after saying plot a course to Red Dwarf, was Rimmer saying "the slime's coming home."

I was looking for something more than that! Something that connected the two episodes together. Maybe a plot that took them back to the first episode or a new beginning. It was kinda meh.

The scripts have only been fair in this series. The jokes have been slightly better.

One of the better episodes of the series hopefully they'll be back for a 11th series. (Along with THE GOD DAMN SCUTTERS!!!)
