Dark Knight will likely be number 1 again next week because E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E seems to be going to see it over & over again.

I hope it beats Titanic!!!! I really hate that film!?!?

Dark Knight was the most amazing film ever, perfect in everyway, perfect acting, perfect story, directed perfect, cinematically perfect! And no dodgy CGI like most big budget films today - (Spiderman 3 and Indy, Kingdom of Crustal Skull)
The perfect film, even if your not a Batman fan!!!!

Drinks up to it beating the Titanic!!!!

Seen it twice now - and it holds up very well on repeat viewings due to the intelligent script.
With strong word of mouth, I could see this easily getting $500 million in the US and another $500 million overseas.

Hope it beats Titanic! But some of the plot holes would be big enough to swallow the great ship whole

Seen it twice, so spent £17 in total. May go for a 3rd, which is unheard of. May reach a billion but has no chance of beating Titanic.

Saw DK on Saturday, what an awesome piece of film making. The plot for the creation of Two Face, I thought, was an extremely moving and well written tragedy. How on Earth will they replace Ledger in his role, which he now owns?!

Glad to see Man on Wire do well for itself, it's a wonderful film.

I'll certainly be adding to the repeat viewing figures! Whilst I would be a tad miffed if it beat ROTK (for which I hold dear in my heart) please, please can everyone ensure that it beats that POTC malarky!! As for beating Titanic, I still do not know to this day how that film made that much money - go figure.

Dito... haven't even seen it out of protest because... well it looks shit and the more people went on about it (mostly girls in my school at the time) the more I hated it. Any idea on what numbers Hell Boy 2 did as I really hope it does big enough numbers for Del Toro to be allowed to come back for a possible 3rd instalment.

The X-Files movie is simply a victim of the bad release date. Why would anyone want to see a supernatural thriller when there's a new blockbuster every weekend? Really production people, it's not that hard to figure out... X-Files is much more an autumn/winter movie anyway. :/

Whoa, that's a lot of dough! I really can see it lasting for a long time during the summer, it's really a brilliant movie and there isn't a lot of big blockbusters that could overrule it apart from the new Mummy movie. I would love to see it again and again, I paid good enough for the first time so why not a second time? Good luck, Bat fans worldwide!

I want to know too as I thought this was absolutely bloody amazing. Two face was excellent, the Hong Kong set peice was inspired and the whole Joker performance was perfect.

I'm in for a third time, this one at IMAX. I thought i'd give it two viewings on the normal screen so i didn't miss anything storywise, before sitting back and enjoying the visuals. I'll see it twenty times if it means Dark Knight will beat Titanic!!!
i freakin hated that film, would love to see this film ship 50 million dvd's haha

Now all of you go see Hellboy! you won't be disappointed!!

Its good to see a brilliant film performing this well. I'm delighted that Spiderman 3 doesn't hold any records anymore, since the Dark Knight smashed all of them so far. Remember this feeling though, because from the looks of things these records are going to be re-set every year or two. Who knows, it might even be Batman 3 to go even further, (Although I doubt it, because as much as I hate do admit it, Heath Ledger's death probably did help,)
