The close up poster looks naff...... as is the idea of remaking this. However, as Robert Rodriguez is directing, this could be promising

He's not directing it. The one of her licking the sword looks shite. I've got a feeling this film will suck balls.

 I had no idea this was in the works! Rose McGowan as Red Sonja - . I'm actually a fan of the old Red Sonja with Brigitte Nelson so I hope they do the 80s 'classic' the justice it deserves.

The poster with her kneeling on the piles of skulls is a good as the sword licking one is bad

 So whats happening here then? First Rodriguez is directing, now he isn't and now someone says its not in production anymore? The idea of Rodriguez directing the gorgeous Rose Mcgowan as Red Sonja sounds like a great idea

Seriously though those posters are piss poor. The first one actually scares me a little and the second looks like its the wrong style for this type of Film.

Those Posters ROCK! A close-up of Rosie-baby in all her 'Force 10 Gale' hair, her tongue delectably tasting some poor unfortunates 'red stuff' from her trustee sword looks DAM Sexy to me! (Perhaps she's just decapitated Brigitte Nielsen for being a total Nut Job..). The 2nd one is run of the mill stuff but hey at least I got a look at Ms. Mc Gowans boobs and tongue in the first one ! Let's hope Rodriquez gets this an '18'/'R' Certificate....Promising.

This looks good RR has taken a chance on doing a remake for a film that really wasnt as good as i remembered it last time i saw it. I just wish he would get on with sin city 2 though!

The original Red Sonja movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. Didn't know anything about a remake before today, and now I've realised that Rodriguez isn't in fact directing I can't say I'm overly excited by it. Unless it gets good reviews the best that'll happen is I'll probably watch it when it comes on Sky if there's nothing else on..

alyssa milano is way hotter but if were really talking about acting abilities holly marie combs was the best actress out of the charmed ladies.
the posters look cool the close up face one is a bit photoshop 2005 skills but the kneeling down one is exciting wee!
