I think his stand up is fantastic! He is poignant in his own all-over-the-place way and there are lots of gems in his materials. The first of his autobiographies, Booky Wook, is brilliant and horribly honest, to the point of embarrasment on his behalf. As an actor, I don't know... I've yet to see him in something other than Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which I wasn't too impressed with, but I'll have to give him some more chances before I dcide what I think about his acting.
