anyone up for game? I played online last night, had 3 games:

first lot seemed friendly enough till they all started calling someone an asshole, i didnt realise they were talking about me! they then booted me (I still have no idea what I did to piss them off)

2nd group had some dick who just shot the shit outta me then revived then did it again (I assume he wanted the acheivement but for fucks sake! can u not boost in yr own game?)

3 lot were much better and we made it to the last bit of the campaign (i forget which) and the host lost -or ended- the sesh before we could finish it.


Really wanna play this properly.

 L4D needs to be played with people you know. Ive hardly touched the Vs mode although when I did it was fun. Mostly been co-op campaigning with a friend (and Anomaly last night) working through the difficulties. W

It really is a multiplayer game. Shouting out for help when a smoker has grabbed you or screaming 'run away' cos a Tank just appeared and your all low on health is what its all about.

We have to do a proper Empire night of this. 4 on 4 vs mode is such great fun. So far I have been really luckly with who I have played with. I have so far always played with at least one person I know but even in the vs mode everyone was working together.  

The moment your squad pure strangers stop, provide covering fire, whilst another person gives you their medi-pack and just living and dying for each other out there...Pure multiplayer...It was beautiful! .<ahem> yeah it's the dogs bollocks!

Until the actual empire night just feel free to join me in a game if there is space as I have done. I jumped into Borstals game yesterday for some campaign and Benyameano's on VS. It was particularly satisfying to hunt the latter down and ripp into in as a hunter...I am not bitter about the festive frenzy at all.

I'm away in Amsterdam as of Monday and it's one of the lads birthdays in work, so I got my money back and they are giving him my copy for his birthday.

 well far Cry 2 isn't as deffective as i first though, but will deffo be trading some stuff in soon and this is high on my list of priorities. Does this have any single player experience at all?

all the campaigns can be played in single player with the other characters as bots.

Theres no real story to speak of though. Its basically get from A to B killing loadsa zombies along the way.

Think of a co-op Timesplitters 1 with more zombies and you're about right.

 I've not actually even touched the final two campaigns, I always intend to, but end up clicking versus and dealing with immense fucktards most of the time. I've given up on headphones as well. I think I'm catching something.

 Really enjoyed the games last night lads, cracking multiplayer game... especially the 2 campaign levels, the whole Vs. mode was a bit WTF is going on here at first 

Yeti only has himself to blame for not completing the second campaign mission, and I'd just like to add.... I did not distrub the witch

Anyone up for the doing the final two campaign missions sunday evening??
