Did anybody else have the misfortune to watch this last night?

It was appallingly bad. The acting was shocking and the one half decent joke they did have was spoiled by one of the characters signposting it every two minutes.

It reminded me of when the whistle blows from Extras.

Yes it was God awful. Having only pauper terrestrial at the moment I’ve been exposing myself to some elements of TV that I wouldn’t normally bother with and to be honest have come across some real gems. This wasn’t one of them. When jokes revolve around ‘gay hair’ (several times, not funny once) and missing chocolate bars (eh?) you’ve really got to question where your licence fee is going (oh, all on to Dr Who you say?). Shame on you BBC.

Clearly, the best bits were in the trailer. Okay, there may have been a few minor funny bits, but that short woman definitely put me off. 3 minutes in and I just wanted to strangle her.

I avoided this like the plague. It had shitcom written all over it.

Still, I'm sure it will run for at least nine series a la My Family, Two Pints Of Lager... and various other unfunny shite.

Phew, glad I didn't watch this!!

The trailer didn't exactly sell it to me and if those were the best bits.... oh dear.
