#9 on jiraffejustin's list...

Drive (2011)
A young stunt driver (Ryan Gosling) with a sideline in driving getaway cars comes over all protective when a young mum's dodgy jailbird hubby leads a gang to threaten her and her child.

#12 on jiraffejustin's list...

Amer (2009)
Searing memories and carnal desires rule the mind of Ana (Marie Bos), a young woman in thrall to her own fantasies in this French psychological thriller that blends eroticism with European slasher movie traditions and a haunted house on the Côte d'Azur.

#15 on jiraffejustin's list...

Time Bandits (1981)
Terry Gilliam's deranged, delightful foray into (and out of) world history. Starring John Cleese, Michael Palin and Sean Connery.

#18 on jiraffejustin's list...

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)
A genetically modified super-intelligent ape begins to question mankind's dominance and cruelty in a thoughtful, character-led sci-fi film.

Wacky fun if a bit of a mess.

A surprisingly good start to what could be a promising new series of films.

#19 on jiraffejustin's list...

The Inbetweeners Movie (2011)
School's out and Will, Neil, Simon and Jay set off on summer holiday in this big-screen outing for the hit E4 sitcom.

#20 on jiraffejustin's list...

The Ides of March (2011)
The idealistic campaign manager (Ryan Gosling) of a liberal presidential candidate (George Clooney) uncovers a political scandal that threatens both men's futures.

Radio Days (1987)
Woody Allen's gentle and nostalgic tribute to the glory days of radio and coming-of-age during World War II plays like Fellini's Amarcord filtered through Neil Simon.

#6 on rawlinson's list...

Bedazzled (1967)
Late 1960s satire in which Dudley Moore is the hopeless loser who'd sell his soul for success with the ladies, while Peter Cook is the sardonic devil who is more than happy to oblige.

Woody Allen's nostalgia fest is a likeable film with great narration from the director himself.

The Adventures of Tintin - 8/10
A really fun movie from Spielberg and that long action chase sequence is one of the best things the director has done.

The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists - 5/10
Just couldn't take to this film I'm afraid and found the whole experience rather dull.

Men in Black - 7/10
An enjoyable blockbuster movie if hardly one to stand up well to rewatches.

The New World - 7/10
Its a typically ponderous Malick experience but has an outstanding performance from the young Indian girl and Christian Bale is magnificently subdued in the latter part of the film. One big flaw though is Colin Farrell's vapid performance as Captain Smith. Still its a very pretty film to watch.

Think that sums the New World up pretty well, it is a lesser Malick but still has much to recommend it.
