Another spin-off list planned so I'll be needing the ratings for the following.... The Crying Game (1992) Sexual politics collide head on with actual politics in Neil Jordan's controversial Oscar winner, an IRA thriller-cum-love story with a plot bizarre enough to make studio executives spew blood. The Dead Zone (1983) Subtle psychological horror adapted from a Stephen King story by master of the shocking sub-text, David Cronenberg. Dressed to Kill (1980) A mysterious, tall, blonde woman, wearing sunglasses murders one of a psychiatrist's patients, and now she's after the prostitute who witnessed it. Homicide (1991) Police thriller-cum-soul searcher written and directed by David Mamet. Never one to shy from asking awkward questions, Mamet's answers are as provocative as his guttural dialogue. House of Games (1987) A psychiatrist comes to the aid of a compulsive gambler and is led my a smooth-talking grifter into the shadowy but compelling world of stings, scams, and con men. Out of Sight (1998) Stylish crime thriller from Steven Soderbergh boasting the sexy leading partnership of George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez.
