By the way, I thought Lockdown was excellent. Bully Ray is the best heel in wrestling at the moment.

Nah. Bobby Rude, Austin Aries and Christopher Daniels all slightly pip Bully Ray. The Bobby and Austin skits just have me cracking up at the mo, not to mention they're both pretty good in the ring as well (epecially Aries). Still, Lockdown did have a fine sign-off and it should make for an interesting year in TNA.

I'm getting it, but only because Mania is a tradition in this house, got my Peanut Butter M&M's ready, tempted to see if anyone else wants to see it to lower the cost though

I'm watching it at my local pub as part of my birthday festivities. They charge us 5 for tickets and that gets us a free beer and a free burger too so can't complain. The atmosphere is always great too.

17.95 for Wrestlemania! Plus 1 booking fee. I won't be watching. This has been a poorly booked event, and one of the least interesting Manias in history, so let's put the price up 3! No thanks. Pass. $69.95 in the US! Anyone who pays that needs their head sorting out! That's around 45 in UK money. No-one would pay that over here! We already pay for Sky Sports, which wrestling is on.

Good evening all and welcome to our last show before the biggest WWE PPV of the year. I would have said biggest PPV but we all know that the biggest and best is Bound for Glory.

Anyway, tonight we have the full team back together where Adam "The Voice" Davey, Gavin "the Brain", Chris "Pretty Boy" Wilkerson and Richard "Hero" Hudson talk about the delights of this week in the world of wrestling.

As per the new format, Hero gives us the latest wresting news, followed by our run down of TNAs latest show. In this section we talk about Mr Andersons brilliant/ ludicrous pre match promo and the stipulation for the tag team match. And Hogan will be pleased to know he gets a mention too.

As part of the interactive part of this podcast, we would like to know who you would like to see together as a tag team in TNA to challenge for the titles. You can let us know below or by emailing wrestling@v2journal.com

In the next section we talk about all things WWE with specific focus on what we thought were the best build ups to the big show. What worked? What didnt? Let us know. Also, how do you think the Cena vs Rock match will end? Shield interference? Handshake? Heelturn? Cenas ExWife with the run in?

The final part takes on bad taste. No its not another section about Hogans home video but the use of distasteful angles in wrestling. Whats the worst and do they work. Tell us people!

Other than a few lewd comments of our own, all in all a pretty good show. And next week, we are looking for someone to join us on the show, as Gavin and Chris are away. If you want to take part, then make sure to email us. Don't forget the caption comp too!

Peace out.

Oh well feel a wee bit ripped off with Mania nothing really outstanding except H.H.H vs Brock thougyt they did really well too go for about 25minutes taking some of the punishment that was going on.
Punk & Jericho did the obligitory thing & put over their opponents as only wrestlers of their class can do.
Del Rio vs Swagger was fine while it lasted I can only think someone thought the event might over-run (WRONG! IT WAS ACTUALLY ABOUT 15 MINUTES SHORT!!!)
As for the main event well PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET'S NOT HAVE A RUBBER MATCH! Definetly the worst match of the night.
Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10 5 if not for Hunters match
And at least we don't live in Ireland I figure with exchange rate it cost them about 22.50 to see that!

At the start of the show, it says click on a link to subscribe to the podcast via iTunes. Am I stupid to not be able to find that?

EDIT. Not sure I've subscribed, but at least I've found the podcast on iTunes now.

Well I certainly felt a bit underwhelmed after last night's event. Other than a couple of moments in the HHH and Taker matches, there weren't any moments where I was surprised by what I'd seen happen.

The biggest problem though was the New York/Jersey crowd, the warning signs were there when the Hall of fame crowd had Maria Menounos nearly in tears, and to put that event on in front of a crowd like that, you were always asking for trouble, when Miz came out he was booed, Punk then got a face pop, and to top it all off, Cena was booed out of the building, on what WWE were hoping was Rock passing the torch to Cena, instead the main thing that will be remembered is the crowd reaction,

All in all it wasn't essentially a bad event, just nowhere near Wrestlemania quality.

Not seen a wrestling event in many a moon and I was quite enjoying 'Mania right up until the 'main event' at which point it became incredibly dull. The lull in crowd participation towards the end was spectacular, like the event had ended and everyone was on their way out.

I don't think WWE were expecting this with Fandango, his theme tune is no 15 in the midweek charts after Raw

Good day one and all and welcome to another edition of the V2 Wrestling Podcast!

This week we are almost 100% focused on the Wrestlemania and Raw fallout as Richard "Hero" Hudson talks to "Pretty Boy" Chris Wilkerson and Gavin "The Brain" Duenas about their experiences in New York and New Jersey for Wrestlemania 29.

The two travelling members of the podcast arrived back home that day and Pretty Boy in particular is feeling the fatigue of jet lag and a couple days travel. Plus a hangover, but he won't let us blame that!

The wrestling world had all eyes on NY/NJ for Mania, and the event almost extended to a second day after a spectacular Monday Night Raw that has got the WWE Universe buzzing, including Fandango's theme tune entering into the UK Charts and rising spectacularly.

We talk about the trip, the events and the future in WWE. Let us know what you thought of Wrestlemania and Raw. If you're lucky you may get a few extra treats as some wonderful photos and videos were taken across the trip, including Gavin's handheld footage of Dolph Ziggler's cash in and Chris' friends filming him at Axxess in a John Cena Karaoke Booth doing the Cena entrance video rap (It's about as good as it sounds).

We also think we may have settled on a podcast name! The Five Moves of Doom is getting some serious consideration, what do our listeners think?

The show kicked off with, errr, I cant quite remember. ACtually the whole show was pretty forgettable. I suppose I had bettr go on a website to read a review of what I saw.

Nah, lets do it from memory.

I think that Orton and Sheamus vs Big Show happened. Orton got the win after the faces overcame the odds in the handicap match. Wait a minute, thats not right. Arent handicap matches usually against the face? And then the one against the odds wins? Not on RAW baby! The two faces took on one heel and won. Slow clap for the creative team on this one.

I am sure the next segment will make sense.

So what did we have....

The devastating trio who have beaten all in front of them took on the Shield. Yes 3MB called out the shield because lets face it, its going to end well for them. So who comes out? Brock Lesnar.

So we had 2 faces vs 1 heel match followed by a heel against 3 heels. And the 3 heels got squashed. After the match, Heyman, in between my fast forwards, said something about HHH.

Whats next?

Ah, at least Cesaro wont let us down. Whats that, he lost to Kofi clean on RAW his title? So last week, Wade won the title clean and now Kofi wins clean on the next RAW. So not only are the titles completely devalued, Cesaro gets yet another loss. Creative are on fire!

Ziggster vs Her name is Rio. Never starts because Swagster attacks Prince Alberto. Pointless. Actually, the BBC gameshow is more entertaining than this.

Whats next? Ah yes, Team Hell no pin the Prime Time players. Wheres Pancake Pete when hes needed for comedy relief?

So what next?

Whats that coming through? Is it a hurricane? No its the bandwagon, and WWE are jumping all over it. The commentators start selling like they are on the Apprentice. Its Fran Tango time and last weeks crowd and downloads are talked up. Eventually Stanwango comes out and does his schtick as 3 whole people in the crowd join in. there might have been 4 people but I think the 4th person was listening to Saturday Night Fever on their walkman.

NEXT!

Ryback on video because presumably he cant talk live. I reckon that they did more takes of this promo than I do of my intro of the podcast. yes thats at least 4 takes. And it still was brilliantly underwhelming. had he turned? Had he not? I guess we might find out later.

NEXT I SAID.

Truth beat Wade clean. let me repeat that. The new champ lost clean to a guy who hasnt won since ECW Zombie was last in the ring. I reckon that WWE creative were on their easter holidays and let my 12 year old nephew who has ADD book tonights show. Stay strong Brian, we all love you.

NEXT.

Womans match. The twin mannequins beat Random Blond champ #23.

NEXT.

Team Rhodes Scholars vs Khali and Santino. This was all about filler. Like polyfiller. That you use on walls which then need painted. And whilst that paint is drying, you might choose to watch it instead of this weeks RAW. I recommend it.

NEXT

At last. The Champ is here. Well Ziggler is. So what does he have for his first match as champ? A clean loss to the Swagster. Genius!

Next.

When is this going to end?
Punk at last. He will save the segment. He will, wont he? Please say he will. Whats going on. Godammit. Hes wondered off to find Sean Michaels smile.

NEXT.

Please end this now. cena comes out. Blah, blah, poopie, blah. The shield attack but will Ryback save him? No he doesnt. Its official, Ryback is now a heel. Best bit of the show right here folks. Yes my highlight of the night goes to.....

the little WWE Copyright logo that appeared at the bottom of the screen to signify the end. Thank you logo man. Thank You.

Mickie sounds a great interviewee. A lot of energy, humour and passion in what she is talking about. No monosyllabic answers, no pushing an agenda or going off topic, but honest open answers and actually quite inspiring. Good stuff.

Think I will check out the Mickie one at some point, she is a favourite of mine and one of the few reasons to watch TNA right now.

Looking forward to Summerslam this year have not seen any WWE for awhile outside of raw highlights and superstars. Am happy with the two main events, both are fresh and have the protential to deliver in the ring. I think a win over Cena could give Bryan the push on top he needs to become a top name. I just hope they don't have him lose it to Orton in cash-in right afterwards. Not against Orton getting the title, but think Bryan deserves a five or six month reign and then he can drop it to Orton and it will mean much more.
