Darth Vader, when he was a goodie, lived on Endor in a tree house (that's why the film was set on Endor)

Superman (Chris Reeve) and Supergirl (Helen Slater) were in an unreleased Superman film together.

I once believed:

If you ate raw sugar, you'd get worms.

That my mum was actually capable of smacking my bum so hard that I wouldn't be able to sit down for a week.

If I picked my nose, my head would cave in.

That my Dad was in Vietnam with John Rambo.

If you got kicked in the nuts hard enough, you'd be paralysed.

Sweet Jebus, I'm not alone! I still don't like the feeling of my feet out of the duvet/hanging off the side of the bed. I think it comes from when I was about 4 or 5 when I believed I'd get snatched in the middle of the night if I committed one of the above offences.

I also thought daddy long-legs were called jelly long-legs. No idea why.

Also thought that if you intentionally killed a bug or something then an even bigger one would come looking for revenge.

i also really wished my toys did actually come to life while I was sleeping, until I realised that if I actually saw my Barbies wandering around my room I'd probably have a heart attack..

 Whenever my mum went for number 1s, she'd always say "I'll be out in a minute.  Just need to wipe my bum!".  Consequently, until I was about 12, I thought that girls peed through their bottoms.

I used to think that in the 60s everything in the world was black and white, until about 1969 when 'they' replaced everything with colour replicas.

I always thought how difficult it must be to be born French, Italian, etc.,  as you wouldn't understand what your parents were saying to you if they spoke in French, Italian, etc.

It's true Tech and it's not the only shit he fed to me when I was a kid.  I still can't believe everything he tells me.

 I used to think that maggie thatcher, the queen, and mavis (rita's friend, the one who was married to derek in corrie) were one and the same...

I also believe I had a magic guinea pig because it changed colour... it turned out that he died while I was at school (infant school by the way) and my parents didn't know how to break the news so thay got me granda to buy a replacement, which looked nothing like the original... it was like finding out santa wasn't real when I discovered the truth.

I also believed for a long time that my first memorable nightmare was real, I remember telling everybody how I wished for a pirate and one actually appeared in the back garden with evil yellow eyes and whatnot, and I remember after a couple of days after getting over the shock of a pirate actually appearing that I attempted to wish up a french soldier... it didn't work.

 When I was a kid I used to think that the children's writer Enid Blyton's real first name was Gnid (because of the way her signature looked on her books). I also thought that Lionel Blair was Enid Blyton. I have no idea why. And I thought this until I was about 12.

After watching a cartoon about The Nutcracker at infant school I was convinced that the scary rats from the film lived under my bed and I was too scared to put my feet on the floor when I was in bed at night for months.

I was convinced that if I didn't curl up in a ball when I was in bed, lions and tigers at the bottom of the bed would eat my feet.
