This gem of a movie is proof that Judd Apatow comedies are the primordial brain children of a true wunderkind, an innovative auteur for finding hilarity in the mundane. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is the best comedy of the year, and one of the finest in yonks.

Poor Peter (Segel) his girlfriend for many year Sarah Marshall (Bell) breaks-up with him while he is totally naked. To deal with this break-up Peter starts to have sex with random strangers but he still feel the pain. So he decides to go to Hawaii only to find out that his old girlfriend is at the same hotel with her new boyfriend. But lucky for Peter he is met by the charming Racehl (Kunis) whom he falls in love with.
Well you propably know Segel from the succesfull sitcom How I Met Your Mother where he is brilliant. This is something he also shows in this hillarous movie where Segel steals every scene with his incredible funny humor. The other person in this film that impressed me was Kunis, known from Thath 70's Show and as the voice of Meg in Family Guy (can still not believe that this incredible beautifaul girl makes the voice of Meg).
But something that isn't that good is the acting from Kristen Bell which I know can make so much more.
I'm absolutley impressed that Jason Segel could make something so hurtfull as an break-up and turn it into this incredbile funny comedy.

This is Segel at his best in forgetting sarah marshall a tropical romantic sex comedy, the set pieces are generally eye candy as is the sexy cast, Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell both putting on funny enjoyable performances, the sheer bitchyness of Bells character Sarah Marshall is handled brilliantly by Bell who pulls of troubled jealous bitch with flying colours and no offence to Bell a seemingly expertise bitchiness, thats probably cuz shes such a good actor.
Kunis of recent history was brilliant in Black Swan but is even better in this as Segels love interest, shes Racheal, a beatiful dignified receptionist who makes the experience of this film even better.
Russel Brand is the scene stealing dimwit rockstar Aldous Snow who is the standout performance, Bill Hader makes a sadly brief appearance as Segels characters brother in law and he does most of this from a web cam.
Paul Rudds brief appearance is hillarious especially his awesome one liner "oh the weather outside is weather." and we musn't forget "when life gives you lemons you just say fuck the lemons and bail." But at the center of this hilarity is Segel who pulls of the troubled Peter Bretter brilliantly its a shame though that the film only really focuses on him with the co characters in the limelight most of the time. And a thumbs up to Billy Baldwins cameo "can you say dicksicle."
Well movie goers can you say brilliant? I can this is a must see.

One of the funniest films ever. Segel, Brand and Kunis are great. A little predicable at times but that is saved by the best ending scene in history. A must see laugh out loud movie.
