hhmmm yes i was a bit over the top with that. so here we go. Ang Lee's hulk is an under-rated classic. It may be slow build up but whats the rush it all builds up to a fantastic number of set pieces by the hulk. While i know this version will be completely different I hope it will do Mr Lee's an injustice

What are some of you people on about? This Hulk picture looks pretty damn fine, as far as I'm concerned, and I doubt its even the finished effects shot (reckon they'll be leaving the "big reveal" of their Hulk until the release so's not to blow their wad... Remember, pictures and trailers are all about generating excitement and buzz, not about showing off...

I reckon there's a whole load of people on here who LOVE Hulk and naturally got themselves all excited about Ang Lee's version prior to release, went to see it, and came out buzzing because they'd finally seen their hero on the big screen... then, whilst most people come down and realise "hang on, that was a bit shit", they're desperately clinging onto their buzz by trashing anything to do with this redux of the franchise... Well, let me break it to you gently, guys: Ang Lee's Hulk film was SHIT and his CGI work so ridiculously childish that I honestly reckon my 4 year old girls could have done a better job on the effects with a handful of crayons.

As for people complaining about the shorts, well.... he's a fucking 12 foot monster borne of the anger of a radioactive scientist! I mean, who gives a toss about the shorts?!?

Seriously, some of you are fucking weird.... :p

When your 4 year old girls have completed their Hulk effects would you be kind enough to post them so that we can see what an excellent job they have done.  I'm sure that Ed Norton and Louis Leterrier would be grateful of their services although it is a little close to deadline day.  Nevertheless...

The CGI looks fine.  If the quality of the effects are going to be an issue for you then DON'T GO AND SEE THE FILM!  If CGI in general is a problem then stick with dramas and the like and avoid superhero films.  They are likely to contain CGI.

Could you give me an example of what you consider to be good CGI?  Or are you someone who looks at a film that they don't much fancy and slags it off immediately?

Whoops, apologies for the mistake.  Late night, too much wine and a love of Ang Lee's original movie conspired to make a crap comment.  However I have some tissue of you need a hand with that continence problem and I'm sure we can find some sites that specialise in that kind of thing anyway.

Perhaps Hulk pants would be sufficiently absorbant.

The trailer's CG was a little worrying to say the least, I mean this isn't a film we're all going to see for the riveting talking scenes, what we want is ''HULK SMASH'' on a grand scale, and if the effects are terrible it's going to be a huuge letdown.
But like I said, this is looking better, he doesn't stand out quite as much against the live action back ground, not as he seemed to in the trailer's street fight scene anyway.
I watched Ang lee's HULK again today, and as much as it's criticised by movie geeks worldwide, the CG was, and still is, for the most part fantastic, especially in the close up shots of the Hulk's face, It's almost seamless.
The thing that let Lee's down was the plodding start, it took a good 45 mins to actually get to the first transformation. Apart from that I still enjoyed it.

the thing is, i dont think im alone in saying that they havent quite made a buzz or made excitement. as far as i recall, we have seen

ednorton holding a vial of something, a la early tony stark picture, one of him in a chair, a teaser, and the pictures in the article.

though the trailer, i didnt think was too bad, the rest of the pictures have just been "meh".

The people making Iron Man have really gone to town, each thing they have released, and there has been plenty of it, has looked

like fantastic fun. even the shoddy CGI at some points that have made their way in early trailers, have been sorted out, and

for the most part look fantastic.

Hulk just doesnt have much to speak for, it just hasnt generated much excitement, and i think, unfortunatley it will suffer against

batman, iron man, and indy to name three.

maybe it will be a breath of fresh air and be an all out ballsy action, but it is going to have a real hard time. Plus the added fact

the studio and norton and leterrier have had a fall out over editing, it worries me.

PLUS theres the fact that Louis Letterrier is directing. I might be surprised if i see it, but im not holding much hope for it.
