Really?  Looks to me like they've just made his skin darker and covered him in harsher shadows and more grit.

I thought the CGI in Ang Lee's Hulk was outstanding, but I know I'm in the minority on that here. The pics from the new film look pretty good as well, but I'm still skeptical.

those pictures have failed to get the blood pumping. i liked the trailer though, but all the news about the dispute between marvel, letterier and norton are making me a bit worried.

hopefully it should be a blast, but like i said, those pictures, unlike the iron man ones, for example, have raised an eyebrow

I agree.

If anyone can tell me why people bitch about the CG on Ang Lee's Hulk, please don't hesitate to let me know.

the hulk picture looks shit. proper shit. it looks like a child drew its idea of a monster on the negative, and it got used by mistake.

but thats ok, because the hulk is shit anyway. one of the worst 'heroes' going. and this film will be shit, too...

There were a lot of complaints about the CGI when the film was released, most people thought Hulk himself looked like shit (I thought he looked cool as fuck), there was also a lot of hate towards the sequence where Hulk fights the gamma-powered canines, one of my favorite sequences in the film, just pure adrenaline. The CGI used for the climax was positively beautiful as well. I really don't see how the digital work can be considered poor.

Come on now! It really spoils it for me when Banner's Jeans stretch so incredibly and somehow still fit when he becomes Hulk - there must be a more 'realistic' look. Sort it out! please!!

I know what you mean but what would you suggest? In reality no trousers would fit Bruce and the Hulk- but then in reality he wouldn't turn into a 10' tall green dude, so.....!

I think a two foot long green cock flapping about might scare the children.

The CGI image of the Hulk looks dire. The Hulk looks more "fake" than in Ang Lee's last Hulk film. It seems Marvel is more interested in selling toys than providing a realistic looking Hulk. Oh well, at least they have dropped the "purple" trousers.

Hulk looks human, he can't get away with it. It would look like a giant naked man. Abomination looks more like an animal.

what the fuck would look realistic about a 12ft, muscle bound, radiation induced monster, bursting forth from the body of a bookish scientist?

i agree that it looks shit, but not on the grounds of realistic-ness, just poor cgi...

How can people sniff at the CGI? How can you possibly expect a "realistic looking hulk"? Its a big, giant, green monster that bashes things! Er..what's real about that? The entire appearance is one of utter fantasy, if you want realism, go watch There Will Be Blood or something. Thirty years ago they were painting a bodybuilder in green paint. I still watched the programme though.

But Ang Lee's hulk is a lot better than we deserve. I personally think it craps all over Batman Begins and all 3 spidermans. Mebbe even better than X2? It's definately the best Marvel film by a solid mile, only Blade 2 comes close. Of course it's only an opinion, but it's mine so that makes it right. I'll still be first in line for this one however.

...doesn't look that much different from Ang Lee's hulk... a) way too big... and b) way too fake.

We could have another Hulk-Sucks situatation on our hands here I reckon.
