With his fans split down the middle over this one (God alone knows what Mr average wil make of it) Argento seems to delight in confounding people. After the beloved and brilliant Suspiria and Inferno all the fans had no idea where the third part of the 'mothers' trilogy would go. But I don't think any one saw this coming. Hey you must hand it to him, he makes the films he wants to make, and if folk like it then that's fine. I can't wait to see it.

Nice to see Empire making a thread for the great man

We've got a better one on Actors and Auteurs all about Argento and it has EVERYTHING you need to know about the Mother of Tears, as constanly updated by Evil Bill. But yeh, been excited about this for way too long, and Amazon better post it on April 21st as promised

http://www.empireonline.com/forum/tm.asp?m=1121413 The crtic's are split on this one,but going by Fangoria who have been following it from birth,it's a 4/5 but for hardcore fan's of horror only.

What about a proper look back at the Master of Italian Horror,we vknow you can do it Empire,you've done it for plenty of other so so directors.
