Well, there you go. At least, win or lose, Tom still has his cold, dead expression to fall back on.

Well, I think we found out from the final that contestants were not merely being put through on their business ideas, as Jade would have been out in the first round.

I felt really sorry for Nick. He came through all those rounds, showed himself to have some skills, but it wasn't an idea that Sugar ever wanted to run with. While I'm sure the exposure and some contacts from the process may be good for him, it really seems they wasted part of his life to me.

I like Ricky, but Alan Sugar invests in another Recruitment firm

How far in advance do the panel get the business plans? they seem to have done way toomuch backround work to have just got them that week (and buying the website was a brillant ) . I can see why Sugar wouldn't touch toms idea, if it had gone wrong the press would have a field day.

Bit of a dull series all in all, Except for Gabby.....I'll miss her......

I agree the series was dull. I think it need a revamp. Some new different tasks. Since the format changed the task don't seem right now. Like last series when Tom won. In other series he would have never had won it if it been for a job but as a partnership he won and beat the woman (liz?) who'd was amazing most weeks and won about 10 tasks.

I miss when they used to do the final & bring back earlier contestants who'd been fired to help out the final 2.

I'll give it a watch but I'm not expecting too much, although I agree it has in some ways been better than the regular show, it has also mirrored it a little too closely.

I caught it once on TV (channel hoping) and in the space of about 20 seconds I wanted to punch every kid on the show
Alan Sugar is a douche to.

That's the bit I find distasteful - humiliating adults on telly is one thing but no-one can say they didn't know the risks. Kids on the other hand - hmm, it just strikes me as a bit wrong.

First time I've ever seen it and I agree. Its one thing to mock someone around 30 years old spouting stuff that would make David Brent cringe, but its not funny when its a load of wee kids. They'll receive enough mocking at school, they don't need it broadcast to a nation. In either case I kind of think maybe a 6pm slot on TV would be more suited than a primetime position.

To cap it off, Sugar did what we all knew he'd do. He fired the socially inept scholastic kid because in Sugar's head there's no room for academic excellence in the business world. Thereby keeping the kid who imo completely messed up the whole task.

Sugar sent the wrong person home. The fashion student cocked the task up.

You can't put together a cookery book in 2 days! It takes months. Both books must be awful.

The Irish girl was awful and the fashion lad was lucky he wasn't in the final 3 otherwise he might've gone. The team leader was so weak and the other team was nearly as bad.

Great stuff.

Anyone still watching this?

It hasn't been a standout series but still enjoyable. It has to have the worst ever lineup for the final though. I hope Lucy wins but that's only because she's likeable and not totally useless.
