I'm just waiting for Arthur to realise that Merlin has magical powers and is basically the only reason the kingdom hasn't collapsed umpteen times.

He's been knocked unconscious so many times that even if he did realise he'd probably forget about it 5 minutes later.

well that was a surprise and a game changer for the show deviating from the lancelot mythology.

inspector lynley gave the game away 'l a confidential' style.

anyone watching s4?

this week's ep was a bit routine but the season so far has been great for character development with arthur as king.

Why has no-one noticed the constant (evil) smirking in every scene of Nathaniel Parker?  It's a dead give away I tells ya.

They didn't notice it for Morgana either. Seems everyone in Camelot has an automatic built in Smirk Avoidance Gadget. Perhaps it's on some kind of utility belt.

To be read with a Shakespearian voice:~

*Spoiler Warning* You are banished! *end of spoiler*

Well who thought that would have happened quite early on in the story then?

How cool was the ending to season four, excaliber sort of and gwen and arthur, aw.... But real thing I never saw coming was what happened to morgana because i was expecting mordred to turn up, who is it just me has disappeared entirely from merlin.

Well, they are changing the legend quite a bit for this series, imo with what happened to Lancelot as well.

That didn't make any sense either, he came back from the dead as an fade to seduce gwen and split her and arthur up, which worked. But if it wasn't really him how did he thank Merlin like the old lancelot did before whole him dying thing.

Although must add that the BBC have gone down the myth stating that the Lady of the Lake has Excalibur.

Yeah either him or an older version of mordred will have to come into it sooner or later.

This is a huge shame. This series has produced the best ever episodes. The episode where Anthony Head came back as a ghost was inceredibly creepy

I've always enjoyed this show, but I have to say, I think it's been running out of steam this season, so the ending of Season 5 is, for me, the logical point to end it.

Kudos for the creators... they've been saying that it would end at the climax of S5, and they've stuck to it, despite really good viewing figures again 'The Shit Factor'...
