It's still not a patch on the earlier series. Last week's episode with the flags and Wil Wheaton was particularly poor. Amy decides in two seconds that he's terrible, and Howard and Bernadette move back to his mother's!

Surely the bit where he gave Wheaton his action figure & told him too play with himself & he did (THE FIGURE!!!) I mean, must have raised at least a chuckle.

Yeah it did, it's not a total loss but the standard is poor compared to what it used to be.

Hmmm you're probably right think Sheldon needs a new enemy & maybe a bit more Raj (who seems to be getting totaly overlooked) & Stuart just to make Howard jealous or a combination of Sheldon & Lenord's mums interacting together or either one going with Penny's dad as I think they're all free agents?

He's getting overlooked because he's a crap character and hasn't developed at all since season 1; he's just become more gay. They need to fix his talking to girls problem or something because at the moment he's just stuck in a really boring rut.

Haven't watched this series so far because E4 usually repeat from the start after Xmas so I just wait til they restart from ep1. Bloody typical then that it looks like they're showing new eps still. Will E4 keep this up, or repeat the series at some point soon? Anyone know?

They usually get about halfway through then stop showing it (probably to do with US?) & start from episode 1 again.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the latest episode had no Amy and no Bernadette and it was the best episode for a long time......

actually e4 is a bit crowed with sitcoms so some have to be bumped to let new shows get a turn.

I hate that E4 do this so I've moved to US Speed. Season Six is a lot better than the last season that's for sure.

Aren't they just taking the break now that will happen in the US shortly? So they both end the run at the same time, even if E4 stop a few epis earlier now, they'll start back a couple of weeks before the US does. Last year the US took 2*3week breaks over the next couple of months.

e4's policy of endless re runs, stacking of new sitcoms/eps and stuffing them into thursday nights is not working for the viewers.

Doesn't bother me. Most of them are pretty shit so it's easy to ignore them,.

And as I said - the gaps in showing are not really E4's fault. In the old days we didn't start shows about the same time as the US so we didn't suffer the gaps - we just showed them right through. Now we suffer from sweeps etc too.

This is all Lost's fault as well

That didn't seem to work for them. The reason most changed was to persuade Dl'ers to watch the shows - is there any point doing something illegal if the show's on in a couple of days kind of thing. And that seemed to be quite welcomed - Lost being the first to do that.

The difference with Lost, of course, was the US transmission also adjusted. And while it still seems to work for many with Walking Dead and Gamae of Thrones etc it still seems to throw out annoyances with the main networks who still have large gaps in their transmissions schedules (increasingly outdated as they themselves seem to acknowledge). Either start late - and have people like YFU saying 'feck it' and watching it US speed, or try to match transmission speed to justify bothering to buy it in the first place.

screening early to deter piracy does not work if you take a break as they do with BBT.

Doesn't work if they edit the shows for content to suit their timeslots either.
