Yup. I love Ronda

This weekends card should be a cracker!

Yeah. Couple of disappointing drop outs (as ever) but looking forward to it. Is this Hendricks' first since the controversial GSP loss? Lot to prove there. And I have I got the Russian confused with someone, or is he pretty devastating? (Fuck wish I could remember him now).

Wow. What a performance from Jon Jones, a total masterclass. Made Glover look one dimensional, slow and basically like he didn't deserve to be in there with him.

There were some wild fights on the prelims, that flying knee from Beal was just perfect. The first fight knockout was brutal and the first time I've ever seen a guy tap out with his legs before!

Also started watching TUF a couple of weeks back. Makes a change to have two coaches that don't hate each other and have respect for each other.

What can you say about Jon Jones? I think two things totally stand out. Firstly, he won't just beat you, but he will beat you in your own fighting style. And secondly, he's only 26. We could see him top of the tree for many years to come.

Looking forward to getting a chance to catch up with 173 this week.

I think we can all agree that 174 was a bit of a damp squib, which can be forgiven as I think the quality of the UFC PPVs has been very high for the last 18 months or so.

I presume they are going to advertise it as co-main events. And no disrespect to Weidmanand Machida. But its Rousey that I'm going to be tuning in for.

Glad I didn't blink.

Its hard to believe that she's just getting better. Devastating. I can watch her do those hip toss take downs all day long.

What an atmosphere in Dublin's O2 at the weekend. UFC Fight Nights 45 and 46 pretty much delivered.

I think that McGregor is signed up to fight Poirier at 178. I know I'm meant to love the Celtic warrior, but that wide open stance of his his begging for someone to take him out. I think he's going to have to keep improving his defence and not just be a threat to his opponents if he's going to keep climbing the ladder.

Boom! I wasn't at all convinced that McGregor was the real deal, I thought his low hands and open stance was begging for a big punch through the middle. But I got to be honest that was a dominating performance against Poirier that can't help but put him on the map for a title shot in the next 12 to 18 months.

Absolutely cracking PPV as well. So many good fights.

Yeah, he's certainly got that something about him. Makes a refreshing change.

Needed it IMO, the last couple haven't been so memorable.

One of the criticisms I hear most often about UFC is that unlike boxing where a fledgling career can go 15-0 it is more likely for MMA stars to take defeats. While this makes many fights more enjoyable to me as it is not a lock on who will win, I understand that coming new to this it can be easy to engage. So characters like Conor I think are good for the UFC, which can only be good for its fans.

I've been off work this week, and got the chance to watch TUF Season 11. Good stuff.
