Going to the cinema will never die. Its the best way to experience a film, but everyone knows that anyway!

Just to say one thing - I went and saw 47 films paying £4 each for my ticket, so I made a samll portion of that money. lol. Anyway, congrats, going to the cinema is an experience of a lifetime, it's much better than watching movies at home, you get something more real going to the cinema and get a sense of great feeling when you leave but you don't when you watch it at home

And lets not forget The Golden Compass. I know how Empire hates it, but last time i checked on Box Office Mojo its made a healthy £25 Million in the UK so far. I believe Bourne did pretty well in the UK as well, and Shrek as ever.

That Pirates 3 and Shrek 3 would have made more money than they did - they did better the last time round, but I didn't see either as they looked a bit rubbish. I'm a massive fan of Potter so it's great to see that it was the highest earning film of 2007, especially as it's the fifth in the series. I cannot undersand who on earth went to see Mr Bean in order to make so much money, has the nation been lobotomised? Anyway, in case you were wondering what teh top earners ar the UK box office of 2007 were, here's a link for you.

So Bourne did really well too, and the Simpsons. 2008 will be a big year too, with Indi 4, Potter 6, Bond 22, The Dark Knight et al. Can't wait.
