I totally hear that by the way, my house is the same and it gets on my tits. As soon as you come in the door there's a shelf that accumulates junk mail, pizza offers etc. Then there's drawers in the hall that stuff eventually migrates too and in between times there's like a holding pen in the kitchen that gathers crap too.

Not to mention all the other hidey holes, behind vases, in cupboards...
