ORIGINAL: Sway The icing on the cake was when she asked if I might want to leave it for tonight, and I replied with, 'well, I'm sitting here ready', she was genuinely surprised and was like, 'aw no, oops'. Why the fuck wouldn't I already be ready if we'd said between 8 and 8.30?!! That's awful Matty That always makes it worse - no shit Sherlock, I'm ready to go, because we agreed to go. Just because you don't couldn't be bothered to look at the clock doesn't mean the rest of us didn't either. I once read some forum and people were discussing time keeping - the question posed was "If you agreed to turn up at 2pm, what time do you think it's acceptable to turn up?" or words to that effect. Most people said "Oh, any time between 2pm and 2:30)". That made me annoyed, and it was only a hypothetical meeting! I have a friend who, during our university years, the rest of the group would usually tell to turn up to somewhere an hour before the rest of us had any intention of being there. That way she'd only be an hour late.
