ORIGINAL: Rhubarb It is well worth checking them out though, they were just incredible really. Don't be put off by the bellend fans either - I got into Nirvana, Radiohead and The Smiths much later than I would have naturally for that reason. Totally agree, but i'm older and wiser now. Saying that it was my little secrect back then that i liked pulp and suede. I didn't want to give the fuckers the satisfaction, especially as all they did on a daily basis was give me a good slagging on my taste and style which i gave back as good as i got. Good times I'll try and sit down with the fab four some night. Rack a few albums up and let it ride. What do you suggest to start on first? Rubber Soul and Revolver are good midway points between the experiemental later years and the pop earlier years, though if you are into heavier stuff to begin with, maybe The White Album, which houses Helter Skelter among others is the best quote:

I thought more of you Rhub, I really did... The first half is a bit of a mess really, I've never got on as well with it as I know other people do. Amazing album cover though. I should also say that all the ones above it are all classic classic classics though, obviously. The first half is the best half, to be fair. I Want You (She's So Heavy) is probably my favourite Beatles song, Here Comes The Sun, Come Together and Something are also great and Maxwell's Silver Hammer is quite a lot of fun too. you're the Gimli of Audiophile though - no-one ever agrees with you Having said that, I like those songs, though MSH is nonsense obviously. But it is all over the place, and not always in a good way. When I'm talking about something being in the fifth or sixth best Beatles album, I am still talking about it as a classic however.
