Forgot (and rightly so) that Jack Black (uncredited) appeared in I still know what you did last summer. (Had it on in the background on Channel 4 last night - honest!!)

A few more - Oscar winner Forrest Whittaker alongside Van Damme in Bloodsport.
The Elephant Man has a few. Kenny "RD-D2 Baker", Dexter "Press Gang" Fletcher and Pauline "Birds of a Feather" Quirke.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Casey Affleck is Kevin's big brother in American Pie - the one who reveals the location of 'The Bible'.

George Peppard (AKA Hannibal Smith) is the romantic lead in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I spent the whole movie thinking 'he looks like a young Hannibal Smith' checked on IMDB and it was.

The first recorded instance of "I love it whan a plan comes together" from peppard when he gets the girl at the end.*

This one's probably been done but Jennifer Love Hewitt in Sister Act 2

I had remembered that Lauryn Hill was in it, but was a bitty shocked when ol' Big Knockers Hewitt popped up.

A very young Bryce Dallas Howard appears in Parenthood for all of 2 seconds.

Aaah, Parenthood - a film that also features Keanu Reeves and a kiddy Joaquin Phoenix, unless I'm very much mistaken.

Thank you for the visual reminder!

I don't want to fancy her now.

(Still, was a great series back in the day, though my lasting memory of it was her throwing up in class when one of the other kids was dictating his essay on riding a rollercoaster).

I don't know if either of these has been mentioned yet, but:

Love, Actually
has a few faces that got around afterwards that are easy to overlook - Rodrigo Santoro, who was the 'exotic' love interest for Laura Linney was also 300's Xerxes.

Also , Colin Firth's totty very early on in the film, blink-and-miss is Sienna Guilleroy, AKA Jill Valentine in Resi Evil: Apocalypse (bad film but she's still the best thing in it by a mile)

Next time you see Masters of the Universe, the Dolph Lungren vehicle based on He-Man (it's a film that is only enjoyable if you try to forget the classic cartoon, it's too different to be considered 'true') look out for the Earthling leads:  That's a young Courtney Cox and Robert Duncan MacNeill (Tom Paris from Star Trek: Voyager).

Don't forget his standout turn as a bully in The Neverending Story III, that always surprises me.

My truly outstanding "Hey That's...!" was the first time I noticed that Jerry O'Connell (suave all-american heart throb in Scream 2,  Sliders etc) was Vern 'the fat kid' in Stand By Me

Apolgies if already mentioned:

Orlando Bloom in Wilde
Flea from RHCP appears in a number of films including The Bid Lebowski and My Own Private Idaho
Not a film but Simon Pegg as a paedophile in the Brass Eye Paedo Episode was quite strange.

Paul 'Brian Fantana' Rudd is 'Dave' Paris in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet.

No, Joaquin used to go by the name Leaf as he was annoyed that people used to mispronounce his name. Or something.

Huh. I was sure I heard there was another Phoenix somewhere. There is a sister, isn't there?

Was quite surprised to see Andrew Lee Potts (Primeval's Connor) in 1408 with John Cusack as his post clerk.

For cameos that have this affect it has to be Robert Duvall sitting on a swing as a priest in Invasion of the Body Snatchers '78

Finally though does anyone else feel the slightest pangs of guilt at fancying Alisa Milano or Kathryn Heigl nowadays considering we first new them as young teenage girls in Commando and My Father the Hero respectively?
