 Why are people whinging about this list?  We voted for them, for Chrissakes!  Personally I don't think Angelina's all that (she's certainly pretty but objectively speaking I prefer Natalie Portman), and I'm sad to see no Christina Ricci, and yes, I too find Emma Watson's inclusion a bit creepy, but, hey, that's the way the cookie crumbled!

Speaking of the Watson/Radcliffe inclusion, I bet Rupert Grint is pretty fucking pissed off.

Gerard Butler #10?!?  I think not!  Behind Daniel Craig?    That really must be a misprint. 

Gerard oozes sex from every pore!!    He’s a man’s man and most assuredly, a lady’s man.  This guy has it all.  He can out act most A-Lister’s and I for one, am grateful Hollywood is finally taking notice! 

I look forward to enjoying many more films from Mr. Butler for years to come.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson is just wrong! No Claire Danes or Ziyi Zhang is wronger! Marry Elizabeth Winstead, Ryan Reynolds, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Connelly and Gael Garcia Bernal are all way to low!

...totally agree with Natalie Portmans Placing tho.

Ehhh?  That was about the only part I did agree with!  I feel ridiculously old having seen that list, Harry Potter for crying out loud!

Always nice to see Paul Newman getting his dues though.  And I could never argue with the number one.

WOW!  I can't believe how far you missed the mark by putting Viggo Mortensen in line at #69!!!  He should be in the top 10 at the very least!  You will not find a finer actor working today, not to mention how handsome he is!

And, by the way, he has released CDs of his own music, but they are NOT JAZZ!  Far from it.  He listens to jazz, but what he plays is more experimental stuff.  Definitely an acquired taste.  He can sing a mean tango, too!  Love voice.  I just wish he would sing more!

I honestly think Monica Belluci has a very ugly face. Bleurgh.

Good list anyway. Made me chortle a few times and was pretty tastefully done. I personally would have to have Zooey Deschanel, Elisha Cuthbert and Naomi Watts in my own list, but I couldn't be arsed to vote! Natalie Portman at number 2 is a good thing though. You don't have to star in romps/throw yourself on the cover of FHM to be seen as sexy these days. Good good.

Oh and yes, the "he looks like an elbow" made me lol. Good job.

Daniel Radcliffe?  Really?  That is so wrong and he's in a higher position than Ryan Reynolds (and others).  If you have to include him, surely you could find a better picture?  One where he's nicely covered up.  And if he's there and Emma Watsons there, then why is Rupert Grint (arguably better in so many ways than Radcliffe) not there?  Zac Efron.  Just no.

Viggo should be much higher.  Johnny should not be beaten by Daniel Craig.  Joaquin Pheonix should be in there and Leonardo DiCaprio (after converting me into a firm follower in The Departed) needs to be higher.

Nice to see that Alan Rickman made the list (his bad guys are always irresistable).

 I'm quite surprised at how high some people were placed, and how low some others ended up. I would have expected Connery to be higher, and how on earth did the likes of Alba, Portman, Jolie and Johansson get so high? The top 10 could only have been worse had Belucci and Brando been up there. Still, all my votes made the list so I'm happy, even if one in particular should have been about 30 places higher

Possibly because they're very sexy? Portman has natural beauty, something also seen in a particular actress of your liking... Johansson has the looks of a golden age actress, something also seen that same particular actress of your liking...!

Must say like other people I'm surprised at the inclusion of Emma Watson, I wouldn't call her role in the Harry Potter films as in anyway sexy or sensual... and er if you do, I hope your around the age of 15 or so  

And have to say, for a feature about being sexy some of the pictures accompanying the stars are decidedly unsexy: poor Warren Beaty looks like "confused old man" or more scarily, George Bush...

But!from reading all these comments its gotta be asked-WHO the hell actually voted for Emma Watson and the rest of the Potter crew???i mean,it must have been a fair number of votes jst looking at some of the hotties shes above...but everyone here-myself included-seem bewildered as to why shes on the list at all...

i'm with the manc aswell tho-the depardieu/elbow comment was a shot straight to the funny bone

Emma Watson has quite a big male fanclub based not just on her appearance in the last two Harry Potter films, but on talk shows and award ceremonies as well.

I was not aware personally when voting that this was supposed to be some sort of 'all time' listing. If you vote on actresses current appearance of course your not going to vote for someone like Sophia Loren, whereas on a sexiest of all time vote of course she is highly placed. What is the point of having a yearly poll if it is an 'all time' ranking?.

Well after A History of Violence I think no 69 is a very appropriate place for Viggo to be

I never understand the attraction with Jessica Alba.  She is pretty in a generic pop girl band kinda way but there is nothing interesting or special about her and she has the onscreen charisma of a peanut.

very rarely do I find movie stars 'sexy' - not sure why tbh. but for me, the following are quite alright: ashley judd (blonde hair version in 'Heat'), natalie portman, monica bellucci.

not sure what the world sees in anjelina jolie with those jagger-type lips

So glad to see the "Hot Scot" Gerard Butler on the list.  I have been a fan of his since Phantom of the Opera ~ and his role in "300" as King Leonidas was outstanding !  Can't wait to see his up coming movie "PSILY".
