Im curently reading Midnight's Children and i have the Satanic Verses to read after i finish. I love midnights children, and hope the satanic verses is as good, anyone else enjoy his books, or has the controvercy stopped you from reading these (i know some people that has happend to)

Incidentally I bought Midnight's Children soon after starting that thread. Haven't started it yet though so can't give an opinion on it yet.
