 I think next year Arsenal should give the fans what they want. Sack Arsene on the eve of deadline day. Quickly appoint 'Arry. Then the day after deadline day, give the job back to Arsene. And lo and behold, lots of transfer action, half a dozen new signings and Crouch will all be yours.

"The clubs have agreed fee in the region of 10m euros (£8.3m).

Even though LB was the defensive position in least need of first team investment (obviously a replacement for Santos was needed etc), Monreal is an improvement on Gibbs so I'm happy that the first eleven is even slightly better than it was yesterday.  W-what is a 'routine victory'

took a while to get the goal (and beating Stoke with a setpiece, lol), but the way they set out and the way we played meant that a win was kind of inevitable (Stoke timewasting after 35 minutes, double lol). Nacho looked really good, Arteta's return gave the midfield extra stability and Michael Owen and Ryan Shawcross are both massive cunts. Plus Chelsea losing and Everton drawing makes today a good day.

 ...and of course Tony Pulis has been whining about teams spending more to beat him, even though Stoke have a net spend of £80m in the last five seasons (to Arsenal's -£36m as it happens). any day where that loathsome baseball cap-wearing turd gets to cry more is a great day.

 I'm sure he's a lovely person on a day-to-day basis but his attempt to punch Arteta (after a perfectly fine tackle, might I add) was a pretty cunty thing to do. The commentators just kind of ignored it though, which was kind of funny since he's hardly an important England international these days.
