It's strange really, I expect us to finish lower than we did last season but I also think the gap between us and the teams above us won't be as massive as last year - we've closed at least a small chunk of the gap between us and the Manchester clubs only for Chelsea to utterly overtake us with their summer spending. I'd say we're still on the same level as Spurs like last year - both teams lost a key player and replaced him by strengthening other areas of the team with some good purchases, and I expect it to be much like last year in that respect. We say this every year, but I'd like to see a real effort to win a domestic cup if possible. I wouldn't necessarily take the FA Cup over a CL place (looking at our accounts anyway) but the trophy drought is the biggest monkey on the team's back, the sooner it ends the sooner the focus can return to pushing for the title - and might be able to convince some of the more anxious players in the squad that we actually are going somewhere. Failing that, we could always abandon the league and try to win the Champions League, which would be insanity but highly entertaining.
