I agree it went down hill after Niles and Daphne got together, I felt Daphne's character changed completely lost all kookiness which made her so appealing that would be my main flaw with the show, also her mother was really annoying . . . but apart from that, brilliant show
It went downhill for about two seasons at most - the last season was fantastic though. Even in the poor seasons (and thats stretching it - it was still better than 99% of shows) there were some cracking episodes.
I still miss it to this day and it is one of the few shows that I can still watch reruns of, even though I have seen them all a dozen times at least. Friends however, goes straight off now!
Other classic episodes - the ski lodge one for its farce. The one with Patrick Stewart. The ones with Aaron Eckhart in the final season were also very good.
