....I usually hate anything Statham does (unless it's Lock Stock or Snatch) but Crank was just too much fun. I wonder how the hell they're gonna do this though.

I have no idea how they'll explain him surviving (the blink at the end of the film sugests they'd thought about it), but I loved the sheer mayhem of the first film. More fun than Shoot 'em up by miles.

I watched the first one with high hopes due to all the comments I had seen about how good it was. It is one of the worst films I have ever seen and so this definitely isn't good news.

I gotta say, the fact that the actual filmmakers were the ones pressing to do the sequel, and that this won't be some mad quickie cash-in has got me pretty excited. The first was one of the most out and out fun movies i've ever seen.

i cant wait for the sequal!the first one was such a lads film,jus fun fun fun!its good to see the orignal directors taking it over again. As for Stathem,he rocks.

i liked the first flick, it was pretty much mindless violence but fun to watch all the same. more than anything im interested too see how they paln on starting the film, seriously! The dude fell out fo a fucking plane at the end of the movie and hit the floor after a ten thousand foot drop!

How are they making a sequel to Crank. Okay I know it's meant to be dumb, adrenaline high fun but a film can't survuve on that alone. Empire's four star review gave this film too much praise...Sure it did what it was meant to do but it still was shaky in terms of acting, plot and screenplay..I'm sorry but I could list a dozen more films I'd like to see a sequel to before this

Awesome. The first one was ace, I only bought it on DVD cos I read good reviews of it, and I loved it! a 5/5 film. A sequel will be fun. Count me in!

Normally I steer well clear of films with such a ludicrous concept as Crank, but on decent reviews, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. On the face of it, with the ending of the first, a direct sequel would seem to be taking the mick, but then it was the outrageousness of the first film that made it work.

Hmmm.

I thought the first Transporter was solid. Very funny and plenty of action. But Transporter 2 didn't have the same magic. Less humour and the fight sequences weren't as good.

I'll approach this one with caution I think

As much as i liked the first Crank movie, does it really deserve a sequel? why can't hollywood come up with a few more original ideas instead of re-hashing old ones?

the first Crank was brilliant!!! Even if one doesn't like the exaggerated plot line and epinephren fueled fun this film offers you have to agree the innovative shots have ou craving to see what this director can mix up for us next! This shall be an exciting film to follow I am intrigued to see if they can make Chev's second adventure more action packed than the first!

Am I the only person in the world who thought the sex scene in Crank was outrageously mysoginistic and bordering on rape?
After all she doesn't want to do it initially but he forces himself on her, then when she realises that she can't fight him off she suddenly accepts that she wanted it all along and is loving every minute of it.
Apart from that Crank was dire and seemed aimed at 14 year old boys who had too much sugar and were suffering from Playstation withdrawal not to mention Jason Statham is an abomination of an actor. I can't see how anybody in possession of an intellect could enjoy the tripe that he turns out.
