trying to remain calm and collected...but failing miserably.
Firefly was something unique, something beautiful, something great. It was a TV show that failed, but a TV show that lived. Serenity bought the "River" character to a kind of close (although what other secrets she may have gleemed it is still possible they are layered under miles of psychosis)
Serenity 2 could take place at any time. Sure we could do a prequel, something that doesn't directly tie into where we left off but for me that would be cheating and feel too much like an episode, which is sadly what Serenity at times felt like.
What is needed is a full on war with the alliance.....build it up, start the war of independence again, this time with Mal in the driving seat. This could be the way forward for firefly/serenity in what ever giuse it takes.....

Couldn't the whole 'how can Wash be in it' thing be explained by a Bobby Ewing in the Shower storyline? (OK, so I'm desperate to see a 2nd film!)
