I don't think I ever did this. That means that, unlike certain other forum members, I didn't fill out a slightly embarrassing version three years ago, and can now look cooler than them.

Name: jamesbondguy (unfortunately)/ Will

Favourite bands/artists: The Smiths and Morrissey first and foremost, but, in alphabetic order: Au Pairs, Billy Fury,Buzzcocks, David Bowie, Dead Kennedys, Del Shannon, Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, The Fall, Gene Vincent, Joni Mitchell, Josef K, The Kinks (the 60's stuff is an easy third after Smiths/Morrissey), Klaus Nomi, Magazine, The Monochrome Set, New York Dolls, Nico, Orange Juice (The Glasgow School and You Can't Hide Your Love Forever-era almost only), Patti Smith, The Raincoats, The Shangri-Las, The Slits, Sparks, The Velvet Underground and Wild Beasts

Favourite songs:

Favourite albums: The complete discography of The Smiths, along with several bootlegs (Same Day Again ftw), and much the same for Morrissey. Also- Playing With A Different Sex- The Au Pairs, Love Bites- Buzzcocks, Hunky Dory- David Bowie, Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables- Dead Kennedys, This Nation's Saving Grace, Hex Enduction Hour and Perverted by Language- The Fall, Village Green Preservation Society, Something Else, Arthur and Kinks Kronikles by The Kinks, Klaus Nomi, New York Dolls, Chelsea Girl- Nico, The Glasgow School- Orange Juice, Horses- Patti Smith, Myrmidons of Melodrama- The Shangri-Las, Cut- The Slits, VU and Nico, The Velvet Underground, Limbo, Panto- Wild Beasts

Favourite Soundtrack Albums: I don't think I have one. I'm too cool for soundtracks.

Favourite era: Roughly 1978-1987, as it is the era of post-punk and The Smiths. Also, the 50's and certain parts of the 60's (nothing that went near Woodstock, please).

Favourite Genre: Well, I've basically answered that above.

Least Favourite Genre: The vast majority of modern R'n'B, hip-hop, disco and dance music holds absolutely nothing, for me. Hard rock, as well, but there are a few exceptions. Much metal. Anything misogynist or homophobic gets booted out the door extremely quickly, as well.

First album purchased: Franz Ferdinand's debut

Last album purchased: Lost And Found- The Angelic Upstarts, I think

Next album purchase: A collection of New York Dolls demos/live recordings that includes their cover of the Shangri-Las "Great Big Kiss", hopefully.

First single purchased: Michael- Franz Ferdinand

Last single purchased: Fashion- David Bowie (obviously it's not new)

Last music DVD purchased: Introducing Morrissey

Favourite album of the year: Two Dancers- Wild Beasts

Specialist subject: The Smiths

Inexplicable Band/Artist In Your Collection: I have impeccable taste. Actually, I do have some Queen albums from the days of misguided youth, although I have started to sell them. The amount of dust on them is proof enough that they've haven't been played in about five years.

Just going through the tastes of people I know (in that cyber-ey way) and low and behold, a fellow Liverpool fan. And what a first single!. I don't know whether I should be proud or horrified. How about proudified? Regardless, that's one to tuck away for a rainy day
