Witness the creation of the universe and Thor battling Loki. This will be the most epic Marvel film to date. Can't wait.

there are some comic book films that just should not be made. Justice League & the Venom spin-off are two of them.

But Thor could be good, but at the same time it could be REALLY shite.

It's a film based on Norse mythology, people! Tolkien made a career stealing from it! And if they went with Jack Kirby's original designs for Asgard it could be very cool looking too.

Man you Brits only find things to complain about, don't yeh? He's not going to mix it with modern times which is a smart move. It's not going to be some crappy fantasy knock-off, of which we have too many. Marvel Thor in Asgard. Not a bad idea. As for the Tolkien comment, wow. Sod that guy. How many teeth do you have?

Hey, thanks for the casual racism, mate. Maybe if you were a bit more culturally aware you'd know that having an 'Irish Jig' is slang for 'masturbating' in many places. Now, i'm not suggesting you were having an 'Irish Jig' when you wrote your comment, but your mind was clearly elsewhere. You'll find my comment was quite obviously positive about the project.

I hope they cast the right guy and try not to get someone who looks exactly like Thor and go for acting abilities rather than Brute build

I have complete faith with Vaughan, especially when he had the courage to walk from X Men 3 on principle. The suggestion that HHH would make a decent choice in the lead is, well, ludicrous.
He was the worst thing about Blade Trinity, which proves he is beyond awful. Vaughan won't make this film is HHH is the lead.

HHH is so the wrong choice for this, How about sawyer from lost but without the southern twang.

Stardust looks cool except for Ricky Gervais so hopefully this will be too.

I think they mean Triple H, the wrestler. Which would be a terrible choice IMO

Thanks for your help darthbane, If this film starts off with Thor in his younger days in Asgard, I reckon an unknown young blond handsome actor must be found. I cannot see anyone at present suitable of playing the Thunder God in his mature years. Who ever thought they'd stick a skirt on him. I think we all want Thor as we know him from comic #83. Thanks.

Just been on the Karl Urban page. What an excellent choice he would be. Seen his pic as Eomer in Lord of the Rings, I had completely forgot about him. I agree with you Kenesu, let's hope he becomes Thor.

I was just on his IMDb page, and they have him down as the main rumour for Thor. Where the hell did that come from?
