He didn't do sweet little 66 or Little Rock and Roller which I love.

I love Steve Earle

People never seem to do my favourite songs, hoping he does Johnny come lately, guitar town, devil's right hand (on my itunes now) and hillbilly highway

(in case you can't tell i only really know the copperhead road and guitar town albums) liking the sound of El Carazon though

Exit O is a great album as well the rain come down is on that. The song that got me into him. I love Johnny come lately. It mentions where I live "We're gonna drink Camden Town dry tonight"

I've got The best of and Guitar Town on my ipod. Don't have Copperhead Road.

well i'd be very surprised if he sang about audenshaw lol, not been to Camden in a few years. Strange place - a lot of cannabis sweets on sale.

I've got all the albums, someone sent my brother a cd so we could brush up on our Earle before the gig (we don't normally do copying, he will buy them all lol).

I know 'rain came down' like it i'll have to give Exit '0' a listen

Copperhead's a great album, don't know what's on the best of from it though

I love Camden but I don't live anywhere near the Market now. Exit O is worth a listen.  I love his early stuff some of the newer stuff is taking the I'm a hillbilly vibe a step too far.

Do you know things like goodbye is all we've got left to say and fearless heart?

love 'em both, they're both on guitar town, i love that whole album not a bad song on it. I do like hillbilly highway i must say even if it is (no surprise) quite hillbilly

It's quite refreshing to speak to someone who's actually heard of him

I had a feeling they were. Bit of a blonde moment for me there I feel.

I don't mind a bit of Hillbilly Copperhead Road is a very hillbilly song. It's just the newer stuff is too much of that and not much else.

I haven't figured out which ones are newer yet so I'll have to see. I don't mind hillbilly stuff but i was raised on the folk scene so i've heard songs about as 'small town' as you can get and in some very strange voices. Still love it though

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE tonight. It will be my sixth gig in the space of eight days. Let's hope it lives up to The National, Battles, Animal Collective (doubt it, this was the best gig I've been to in nearly a year, if not longer), Broken Social Scene and No Age.

I was at Old Trafford last night for Bruce and it was amazing, we were about halfway back in the stands but it was still one of the best nights ever.

Got Death Cab For Cutie coming up at the Apollo and Leeds Festival tickets on the way. Really tempted by the Coldplay tour tickets.

Sorted out a set of last minute Glastonbury tickets. I've never been before so it should be cool. Also got Radiohead tickets for the Tuesday before Glastonbury and Coldplay tickets for December.

Plus, it has just been confirmed. Me and a friend now have tickets for Sigur ros in London on the 24th June, the night before we are going to see Radiohead. Unfortunatly what with us not having that much money after buying all these gig tickets it works out cheaper to just come home each night and travel back up the next morning, so a hell of a lot of travelling will be undertaken those two days, but it should be worth it!! The place of the gig, Central Hall Westminster, looks rather lovely, so it should be a good couple of nights before and during my birthday

Couple of minutes ago I got tickets to see Stevie Wonder at the NIA in Birmingham, got three tickets for me my mum and step dad. Should be quite a night!! From What I can tell our seats are good as well. I can't find a corresponding seating chart... But It's on the floor in BK C.... which I can't work out if thats Block C? or if BK means something else... either way I think they are in one of the front 3 blocks, row Q... but still... can't wait

EDIT- Called the NIA... they told me they couldn't give me any information on a seating plan until tickets went on sale.... As I have just bought 3 tickets off ticketmaster, who are hardly a dodgy site I was understandably confused... but she said to call back tomorrow and they could tell me the seating plan then, so we'll see

That is a small venue, odd layout. Enjoy it, they are trying to pull it down to make room for a bigger station!
