The Sunday of Wireless festival.

Wireless has never really appealed to me before, and this year was no different... until they announced the Sunday Line up, and it included A Tribe Called Quest playing their first UK show in 20 years. That was enough for me, but we also get Nas, and the headliners are Jay Z & Justin Timberlake doing a joint set. Not a huge fan of either of them to be honest, but I think it could be good fun... Either way, Tribe Called Quest are going to be amazing!

The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park in July - went for the standard pleb ticket at £95.00, didn't want to see them that much that I'd fork out the extra £100 for the level 2 standing area, God knows how much the level 1 works out at.

£399. I'd love to see them but the prices smack of pure greed.

Seriously? That's how much these cunts are charging? They're all richer than God, they don't need any more money! And they are still asking prices that will practically bankrupt their loyal fans?

Fuck The Rolling Stones. They sum up everything that has gone wrong with rock and roll. They are arseholes of the highest order. They haven't put out a halfway decent album since 1980 but still demand worship from the plebs who think that they are still a going and worthy musical concern.

But, hey, if you feel the need to go, then do it. Have a good night. Just take a shitload of money because that's all the Stones are all about nowadays.

They love your money.

Have two gigs in the next week, Voronica Falls in Islington next Tuesday and a gig in Brighton at the Prince Albert on Wednesday featuring the excellent Meddicine (think Miss Kittin crossed with Ladytron).

Also will be seeing Billy Bragg at the Brighton Dome in May, and Cat Power at London's Roundhouse in late June.

Built to Spill in London in September. They probably won't be releasing anything new for a while (if ever) so I'm making sure I get to see them live.

If my finances can cover the ticket, transportation and accommodation costs, I'll be seeing Cat Power at the Roundhouse on 25th June.

I've heard stories of her being a little bit nervy when performing live in the past, so hopefully she's overcome that.

Do me a favour? Break in back stage and tell them to get a fucking move on with the new album.

You never know what to expect with the lovely Miss Marshall but I've seen her three times and luckily I'm yet to witness one of her famous carcrashes. I know a few people who've caught her during particularly troubled periods and it sounded genuinely heartbreaking. Still, I think she only gets a little bit nervy when she's suffering a severe bout of depression and/or pissed out of her skull and by all accounts she's (forgive me the yankified therapy-speak coming up...) in a good place these days what with the sobriety, fantastic last album and splitting with that scientologist loon.
Oh and she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever been in the same room as. And I once met Spuggy off Byker Grove.
