I'm going to see The National, supported by St. Vincent, in the Olympia (Dublin) on Thursday.

And then Animal Collective in Tripod on Sunday.

Will Haven in Liverpool on sunday night.

Will be the first time I've seen them since Grady left, but hopefully Jeff is up to the job - big shoes to fill.

A week on Sunday I'm seeing Stereophonics, supported by The Enemy, at the SECC.

Then on 26th February, my 18th, I'm seeing Editors at Glasgow's Carling Academy.

Finally, on 21st June, I'm seeing Bon Jovi at Hampden Park.  Got the 75 Gold Circle tickets !

Fucker.

I was gonna get one for the Roundhouse and then book a cheap Ryanair flight over, but of course, being a bloody student, I didn't get up until after 1.

Seems likely that they'll play the Picnic over here next September, but I'd rather see them in a live venue/theatre than a tent.

You bastard !  Do everyone a favour... get the audience to shout "Tour!" like a million times!  Apparently, a 2008 tour has been confirmed by the lead singer of The Cult .

Jenny will be mine.
Oh yes, she will be mine.

She smiled at me. That's good enough... for now.
This was pretty fantastic and was actually my first proper indoor gig. I'd previously only seen Ray Davies at Rochester Castle and I don't count the Isle of Wight Festival.

Here are the pictures I took if anyone is interested in the band (or Jenny Lewis/The Elected/Orenda Fink/Grand Ole Party):

Arctic Monkeys on the 8th of December, but i'm currently browsing ebay for tickets to see klaxons on the 6th december (the date that crystal castles are supporting) and Bloc Party on the 14th or 15th december (I saw them at Reading this year already but they were brilliant plus Foals and The Cribs supporting )

Off to see CSS and Justice in Keele on the 13th December then, its the mother of all shows for me...

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (minus Danni Federici by the looks of it) in Paris.

I am a huge huuge huge Boss fan but have never seen him before. It was a right trial to get tickets as well!
