i haven't seen much anime but Fullmetal Alchemist is the best thing i've seen.

Once again rockerjo you've had to show some of my favorite anime's like excel saga, neon genesis evangelion but i had to pick full metal panic which is one of the best mecha movies next to evangelion, but where is trigun, hellsing, love hina, full metal panic fumoffu which is funnier than the FMP and dragonball z.

Yurusei Yatsura (not sure on spelling)

All brilliant and very different anime series

I've only watched a few episodes of escaflowne and cowboy bebop and from what i've seen of them they are both good anime's.

but from your choices.... (jesus i can't believe trinity blood is up there) i choose full metal alchemist :)

recently got a friend into it and he's hooked. loved when the movie finally came out after months of waiting, turned my surround sound right up and kicked back.
