It looks like Mr HQ and I will be in Bristol in September if anyone fancies a beer.

I'm always here. Except for September as I'm off to Tokyo and New Zealand!

I'm in the general vicinity for a week or so at the start of September HQ, getting married in Weston-super-Mare on 10th!  If you and Mr HQ are around Weston that evening and would care to join in TwistedKitty and my shenanigans, let me know!

That's a good point - I don't leave till the 15th, so I too could be there.

Open bar, right?

So HomerSimpson_esq and myself have only gone and set up a bloody Bristol-based film club. A BAD FILM CLUB.

http://bristolbadfilmclub.wordpress.com

We're currently sorting our first film showing and venue, but if you're Bristol-based and want to know more, follow us on Twitter - @theotherBBFC or find us on Facebook.

That really is a fantastic result - well done to you and Homer. Let's hope that this will be a long-term success!

Nice to see the next one going towards the Whiteladies campaign - that and the Gaiety in Knowle were my two "locals" (even though I didn't really live that close to Whiteladies). Nice to see that something other than flats/bar-restaurant/supermarket being proposed.

Yeah, it was my local as well which is why I was keen for us to do what we could to support it.

You should come along to Samurai Cop. Looks like it could be another sell-out! And it'll be in a police station!
