I appear to have won a pair of tickets to see Afterschool with a Q&A with the director afterwards. There's only one of me, and it seems a shame to waste the other ticket. Anyone else fancy a trip to the Watershed, tomorrow evening - starts at 7.45.

Arse! seems such a shame to waste the ticket - I just picked them up, and there are definitely two, and they're definitely free.

Few times a year - Wells is nice in the summer.  You've only been to Weston 3 times?  Shame on you! You should visit more often.....theres loads of things to do there like...ummm, errrrr.....let me get back to you on that.

Rhubarb I dont think you've missed much - its probably looks the same apart from the missing pier!

That's probably true yeah. It was weird when it was destroyed though, knowing that you had walked somewhere that was no longer there...

I have 3 promotional Lord of the Rings standees which I am looking to get rid of free of charge and asap.
If anyone lives in the Bristol or Weston super Mare area (I'm in Weston) then PM me to arrange collection.
They'll be given to the first person to make contact.

Gandalf the White
Frodo with ring in Two Towers
Aragorn - Return of the King

Does anyone know for certain which films the Watershed are showing for the Decalogue event?

Only that the March one is Mulholland Drive and Monsters Inc (kiddy decalogue).

Kind of disappointed once I realised it wasn't Kieslowski's masterpiece they were showing.

The March dates times etc are on their website.

Don't know about the Nick James choice for this month tho.

Excellent. I'll be seeing MD.  I just hope I don't need to book it online beforehand.

I expect it'll be In the Mood For Love for 2000.
