But have you tried combining them? An emotional affair with a high hooker?

That from next week, I'll be working from home and have no more late shifts.

I'll be able to finally catch up with all the boxsets I've got lying about, start some old stuff again and basically watch an episode of something different every night (shift work meant that I'd make my way through one boxset before starting another as the shifts tended to split my viewing up).

It'll be like watching TV in the old days.

Mind = blown.

That's what you're going to do with your new found freedom? Not drugs, hookers and emotional affairs?

He could've had all three if he'd gone to the Bon Jovi gig with my mam.

But that would have meant listening to Bon Jovi.

And what man could really endure that?

I'll never be able to listen to the lyrics "I'm going down in a Blaze of Glory" the same way again.

This is true.

In other news, my manager's haircut really bothers me.

Three things:

Lucky old Joshua Jackson.

Did Jaffa Cakes get smaller?

I was going to take my camera to the beach for a few.long exposures but the torrential rain puts me off doing that at the.moment.

For a minute there, I read that as "Two English blokes and an American witch".

Say no to meth, kids.

Think I must be the only person around who not only has no opinion on the Superman scores, but actually can't even remember the Williams version.

His scores are bland and instantly forgettable. Jaws probably being the exception.

Listen to my podcast!

Will I still find it enjoyable if I don't give a fig about Star Trek?

Nah, don't bother then (it'll help if you have seen the first six films. I don't actually remember the first one so talk more when they start talking about Wrath Of Khan )

I'm amazed that some people don't know Williams' Superman score, it sings Superman's name! (it's a very memorable theme)

From what I can remember I think the Superman theme goes like this:

Superman, Superman,
Does whatever a spider can.
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies.
Look out! Here comes the Spiderman.

I can't even remember the Raiders score right now. Looking at his list of scores, it's only Jaws and Home Alone I can bring to mind.

Wrath of Khan is actually a perfectly decent film.

Thing is, Shatner's odd speech patterns tend to take me out of the ST films in which he appears. He puts pauses where there shouldn't be pauses. It's... quite... odd.. and... irritating

Disagree with the forgettable part but only with The Raiders March, The Imperial March and the Superman theme. Oh, and Jaws, of course. I think those are memorable themes even if you can't remember full scores (although I love all of the score for Raiders of the Lost Ark). And I'm not even a Williams fanboy, I'm a Jerry Goldsmith fan, myself.

No, and it's annoying me because I know I should know it, but it keeps going in to Bonanza instead.

Yeah, he's not the greatest. The podcast isn't a total lovefest, I only really like 3 of the six.
