Four furry little kittens! They are incredibly cute, and I'm glad it's over as I was panicking just a little yesterday morning. That was actually the highlight of a crazy week and to say i didn't want to have anything to do with the birth of the kittens I'm glad I was the one that was there in the end. It was pretty great.

They're not the best photos as we didn't want to disturb them too much. The only reason we did was because we had to move them to a cardboard box anyway as she had them under our bed....

 I'm going out with a group of my old drinking buddies tonight. I'm fairly certain we haven't been in the same place at the same time since my wedding nine years ago and despite being the person that sorted out the get-together (and it kinda being my birthday night out) I really can't be arsed going. I'm still feeling drained from yesterday's hangover and at the moment the thought of a beer makes me want to vomit. The only thing that appeals to me right now is vegging out in front of the telly and having an early night.

This has genuinely had me chuckling for the past couple of minutes.

I felt the same last week - it was my pal's birthday meal on the Thurs night and I was shattered from the excitement of the previous day's good news, and because my body is still recovering, I didn't think I'd last past 9pm, My bro gave me a lift into town and we actually just passed yawns back and forth in the car the whole way in.

We got there and the craic was brilliant. I didn't want to leave, but it got to midnight and my bro was going to be driving me back home before he could get to bed himself, so I knew I had to.

No chilli sauce down my dress though.

I’ve not tried that but might give it go. Having said that I enjoy the odd whiskey but I really dislike Glenfiddich so maybe it’s not really the beverage for me.
