 I'm quite enjoying Common Denominator at the minute. It's not quite up to Pointless/The Chase standards but streets ahead of Tipping Point or Perfection. And it's sometimes quite hard too which is fun (in an annoying way).

Aye I didn't think much of that either.
Common Denominator's on Channel 4, presented by Phil Spencer. Very simple high concept - the contestants are shown two pictures or words and have ten seconds or so to get the connection (or common denominator - geddit?) between the two. It gets addictive fast as some of them are quite difficult and you end up kicking yourself when you hear the answer and watching another ten minutes rather than doing the work you're supposed to be doing until you get one right and salvage some pride.

 After speaking to a work colleague about Corryvreckan and Glencoe (knew nothing about the former!) I really need to sort myself out and just book a week in Oban in the summer so I can do both and just generally mooch about up there

The Shadow is a bit of a dull mess and it has made me realise that I have watched three films with a Baldwin brother in them this week. I think that's enough. I'm taking a food/Pointless break then I may watch one last film.

Ok, I watched Chill Factor starring Cuba "I won an Oscar once" Gooding Jr and Skeet "I was in Scream!" Ulrich. It's pretty forgettable but as with most of the films I have watched this week, it has some good practical stunts.

Just started watching Executive Decision and I have just realised that Seagal's name is not in the opening credits. This makes it the odd one out in my Seagal Blu Ray boxset

Thanks Shifty.

I had such an amazing night. Got to socialise with work pals who I've missed so much, got to eat some tasty grub, and then we went to a pub afterwards - first time I've been in a pub for a sociable evening for months.

I laughed so much tonight that at one point I thought I was going to need to pop a couple of ibuprofen before going to sleep because my stomach was so sore. Sneezing, laughing and coughing are all still sore on my abdominal muscles just now. I was gripping my stomach in pain/laughter!



Going to bed so incredibly happy right now.

I don't remember Executive Decision being so boring. It probably has Steven Seagal's best performance, though, which is odd. After that, last night, I watched Deep Rising which was fun and has put me in the mood for watching The Relic for some reason (maybe because I have it here). Which I will do after lunch.

I have Bulletproof starring Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler but I'm not sure even I hate myself that much.

 He gets a lot of flack but I can't completely write off the man who gave us At A Medium Pace, The Wedding Singer and starred in one of Paul Thomas Anderson's best films.

Today I watched The Relic, Terminal Velocity and Under Siege. It was the first time I watched the uncut version of Under Siege and he stabs a guy in the armpit and rips another dude's throat out. Which is nice.
